  1. Revell's 1969 Yenko Camaro has the standard grille. The grille fits the Revell 69 convertible kit.
  2. I'm wondering what color they'll mold the kit.A problem with the original issue was the interior was molded in white and the bucket seats were molded in blue.
  3. I would like to see the 40 Ford pickup returned to it's original issue. They're selling on eBay for around 300 dollars. There's one on eBay right now that's bidded up to 350 dollars.

  5. Actually,Ford built some 65 Mustangs with 427's.Dick Brannan drove a 65 Mustang with a 427 S.O.H.C.
  6. The instruction sheet says to remove side marker lights,Shelby fender emblems, and"Shelby"letters from rear spoiler.
  7. I have the Mini Exotics 67 Shelby conversion kit and the hood and front end doesn't fit the AMT 68 Shelby body. The hood is 3/32 too skinny and the front end looks like it's about 1/8 too skinny. Is it possible that they have shrunken over time? Also, all the headlights and taillights have turned brown.
  8. You're right,they're in the 65 Grand Prix,63 Avanti,and the 55 Mercedes 300SL.
  9. The chrome tree above is in AMT's Customizing Series from the late 80's.The series included a 49 merc,50 ford,66 Buick,and 66 T-Bird.
  10. I found a photo of this car on eBay.The whole car is red,it has tuned by A&J Inc.on the front fender,Jardine Headers instead of Stahl, and the number 732.On the rear fender it says driven by Joe Gardner & Arnie Waldman.Engine by Bill Jenkins. I think the photo is being sold by a company called farmfresh1004 .
  11. Look at the last photo Dr. Cranky posted and you will see the new wheels. They have a slightly smaller diameter. The kit has two sets of wheels now. The box side shows the two wheel sets.
  12. Could you post a link to this Fred Gibb Tribute car.I thought all Zl/1's and COPO Camaros used a cowl-induction hood.
  13. Those look like small block chevy headers. All four pipes should be evenly spaced apart for a big block.
  14. Maybe your post should have stated it didn't have a THIRD FULL SET OF CHROME!
  15. The boxed kit should have two chrome trees. One for the rail and one for the Fiat. Look at the bottom of the box.
  16. Very nice. Where did you get the decals?
  17. You can see photos of the car on itwhotrods.com
  18. Did everyone notice. iThe kit does have the Roadrunner decals.
  19. I like the rear spoiler.Where did you get it?
  20. Mpc's 69 Camaro chassis fits AMT's 69 Corvair. All you have to do is remove about 1/4" from the front of the chassis.
  21. I think the headers look a little too modern compared to the headers in posts #122,#134,and #138.They look more late 60's than early 60's.
  22. The very first production Talladega was Wimbleton White.
  23. Aren't your spark plug wires wrong?I thought those black parts on the valve covers were spark plug covers.Shouldn't the wires enter the rear end of those covers?
  24. Amazing! I like the brass knuckles shift knob.
