  1. The Big Rig Rod and the Evil T were from this series. What I liked about these kits is they had full fenders.
  2. Otaki made a Toyota Celica LB 2000 GT Racing molded in green.
  3. I would buy the chrome wheels in the reissued AMT 36 Ford. They're already on a separate sprue.Maybe include four WWW tires.
  4. This chassis is in the recently reissued Kenz & Leslie Cougar FC. MPC used this chassis in the old Ramchargers Dune Buggy. Some of the dune buggy parts are still in the K&L Cougar. MPC also used this chassis in the old Dyno Don Nicholson Cougar FC.
  5. Can you post photos of your H.U.G kits? I've never seen a 67 H.U.G. kit.
  6. MPC's Hemi Under Glass is a 68 Barracuda. It has the flat header panel and small taillights.
  7. I think the first picture looks like it has a chrome 32 Ford grille.I would use the MPC Switchers 32 Ford phaeton. It already has a supercharged V-8 and slotted wheels. It shouldn't be hard to find that style of blower scoop. Also, the car looks like it has an updated/modern rear axle.Which the Switchers 32 Ford has. You could use the headers/side pipes from the Switchers 25 Ford T. I guess you could get the rear fenders from the Revell 26 Ford.
  8. I truly think Revell should retool the grille on this kit!How hard would that be?
  9. 1969 RS Z/28s had the name rally-sport on the front fenders behind the front tires.I helped a friend restore a real one. I'm pretty sure that 68 RS Z/28s had the name rally-sport on the front fenders too.
  10. Has anyone checked the fit of the Revell 69 or AMT 68 hood on this model ?
  11. There's more than just the horizontal chrome strips. The actual grille opening is too tall. The grille opening should be only slightly larger than the turn signals.http://fineartamerica.com/featured/1967-chevrolet-camaro-ss-427-gordon-dean-ii.html
  12. What has me worried is the grille. Model Car Mountian on eBay has a very good photo of the model from the box art.Compare it to a photo of a real grille and you'll see what I mean.
  13. I have two Revell T-Bone Stakes from the Model Builders Of America kits. They're dated 1974 and 1975. the one dated 1975 has a Broadway,New York address. The one dated 1974 has a plastic bag from Model Builders with cross action tweezers, file, paintbrush, cement, thinner, and four bottles of paint. Also, both kits have a Revell Modeling Handbook.
  14. I have the hardtop kit.The stock hood, wheel backings, and all four bucket seats are on the same parts tree. It looks like it only has one Judson supercharger. They should be located beside the stock rear bumper and taillight panel. It looks like everything else is there. The twin intakes, twin Weber carbs, blower belt, and all four blower end caps. The end caps are located under the stock rear bumper. Also, the custom taillight bezel is missing. It should be located under the blower end caps.
  15. Looks like the tops of the doors are too horizontal.
  16. Are you sure about that.Alot of the cars I see on the internet have a silver/aluminun hose.Doesn't this hose bring hot air from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner? Shouldn't this hose be connected over center of the exhaust manifold?
  17. I had a Hugger Orange and a Lemans Blue 69 Z/28s and they both had silver grilles.A friend had a Rally Green 69 Z/28 with the silver grille. I always thought the silver grille was more common.I've seen silver Z/28s with silver grilles.
  18. The Scorpion kit is a combination of the Astro 1 body and a Piranha dragster frame.
  19. A fuuny thing about this kit.I have pictures of this model in a 1968 1/2 and a 1969 Auto World catalogs and it has Monza Mia decals on it's sides. I have this kit in my collection and it doesn't include the Monza Mia decals. The class designation on the decal sheet is S/XS.? Maybe someone knows if that is a corrct class designation. I'm surprised they didn't market this kit as a wheelstander.I suppose if you left off the wheelie bars you would have a wheelstander. This kit is just the Hemi Under Glass with a stock Corvair body. The instruction sheet instructs the builder to remove the last flat rear section of the chassis.About 9/16 of an inch. The only unique parts in this kit are the front spoiler and the headlight covers. I think this model would look good with the custom front body extension from the Prestige 69 Covair.
  20. I think the MPC 66 Bonneville had the spy parts. There's one on eBay for sale.
  21. The seats in AMT's 67 GTO are from the 1970 GTO.There's even a 70 GTO front bumper on the same sprue with the seats. Also the front seats uphostery pattern doesn't match the rear seat. I think the last reissue to have the correct 67 seats was the MPC issue 1-0730.This kit was issued in 1984 as part of the Golden Wheels Series. Another mistake is they all have a 1970 GTO steering wheel.Even the MPC kit.
  22. I think the first kit that had the corrected grille was the Don Nicholson Super Stock.Issued in 1995. The Hayden Proffitt and Old Reliable kits issued in 1993 have the incorrect grille.
