E-Mail the seller and ask him......And just find out if he can guarantee the kit is 100% Complete...if he cannot then then i would say Bogus.... I would not pay that much for a kit....unless i could see the contents of the kit......How are the Decals?........Is there tire burn?...... Glass Broken Cracked? The seller should give a 100% complete inspection on the kit....for $275.00 or More

acrylic, enamel and laquer approximate dry times

acrylic, enamel and laquer approximate dry times
XJ6 replied to foxbat426's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Well i am not an expert on the matter....but my rule of thumb is after any painting (car) and parts, is to always wait 3-4 days before i do any handling, polishing, masking, BMF and what hav-ya..this is speaking of using Lacquers.. Enamels which i very seldom use... i wait a least a week....for they just take a long time to dry... I use acrylic mostly for detail..and they dry the quickest...but i always wait at least an hour....recoat...handling.. etc.... Of course all this depends on temp's for drying time Cheers....Don aka XJ6 -
That is a fact...i live just minutes from a Big Hobby Store (RC-Country)....and i see people pay lot's of money..and i mean lot's of Monies... on just the parts alone...$300.00 to $700.00 + for RC...no thanks i'll stay with my $24.99 / $27.99 Model Kits.... But to be up-front and honest....If i could afford the RC thing..i would do it....Maybe?? i don't know, perhaps...oh well...
