  1. Jason...Thank-You very much for the info...and the Tips & Trick's on the assembly of this kit....for this indeed will be my first Fujimi " Enthusiast Model Kit" I have printed out the valuable information and put it with the kit....this is good to know....Now i have more instructions to follow.. Quick question....Which brand and color of Blue did you use ? Thanks again.....Very Much....Cheers Don..
  2. I would think putting tape on your shirt...would pick-up "lint" therefore you would be applying lint to you prized model...just a thought...perhaps i could be wrong... Cheers .....
  3. Jag - u - are " Not" jag - wire Just Sayin...but then again who cares....Point still comes across Cheers...Don aka XJ6

  10. I just did a search on this Model (kit) and behold your beauty of a build sure got my attention.. I just bought this kit at the NNL-West Model Car Show held in Santa Clara, Ca last Saturday to go with my other Ferrari Model kits.. while i almost always paint my Ferrari's Red / Yellow...But after seeing how nice yours looks with the Blue color on it....I am indeed going to paint this Ferrari 356GTB/4 "Blue" Question: how was the part's fit...any issues?... Thanks and Cheers Don aka XJ6
  11. I would like to chime in...I just came across the "Tom Daniel" Paddy Wagon Revell / Monogram kit. 85-2543 Limited Edition 1 of 10,000 with a Collectible Certificate of Authenticity at the flea market today for only $7.00. and this kit contains fully painted, sculpted figures of officers Fogerty and O'Reilly for i believe Fogerty is in side the model driving the Paddy Wagon and O'Reilly on the out side of the Paddy Wagon holding on to the back door. I know there has been a lot of issues...and reissues of the Paddy Wagon..for it has always been a number one seller for the Revell /Monogram line of Plastic model kits, (so they say on the intro cover on the instructions)...however i have never seen any paddy wagon with figures.. that is untill today.... has always i research kits on Evil-Bay just to get an idea of the price of a said kit..and it seems they are in the $40.00 to $80.00 range....my guess is it is a $30.00 /$35.00 kit.... I assume that most of the Paddy Wagon kits you can pick-up for ....well cheap...I figure that this kit is a bit more pricey just because the have the figures.... Cheers to all.....
  12. That was Good..

I have a Union Model Kit "The Memorial Collections" of the Lola T70 Kit No. MC06-1500 (Rare Hard to Find)....This kit is for the Professional as this is labeled on the box....I could perhaps let this kit go... if you are interested.. Cheers...& Happy Holidays...
  16. I find this to be an interesting topic.... I my self make a document for each of my model builds...i do a little research on the subject ( car's only ) and type this into a document...After all painstaking hours and detail i put into a build, i want to know the history of the car i built... all this is included with photos and all of the Paints..Brands...Colors I have used on my build...along with the instructions of the assembly...they are all in nice folders.and numbered 1 thru 56 ( 57 on the way ) and they are in the order of which i have built them. and of course they are all dated.. Amazing my first model (number 1) looks well Good...But number 56 is super...i felt i have came a long ways in this addictive hobby...but you know my First Model (number 1) is really in it's own way my favorite...BTW..my first build is a 57 Chevy Belair.. Anyway....Cheers To All...& Happy Holidays...
  17. You Build Models Right....well then Good Luck......
  18. Hey nice to see again at the Model Club....I know what you mean R/C country..is nothing like Good Ol'e Riverside Hobbys...Go in to R/C country and buy a plastic model kit...and they frown...yet go in there and spend $180.00 or more for some Part for a R/C car and you have a friend for life...I stay away from there the best i can....They do carry metalizers in the little bottles for the air brush anyhow... Cheers and Happy Holidays....
  19. Well i have been going to Riverside Hobbies for about 4 yrs...and have became close friends with the Family...Good People. In the last 2+yrs i have Bought / Sold /Traded Model Kits with Doug for a total of 357 model kits that i have just Traded or Sold to him...I was always on the look out for model Kits...Yard Sales....Flea Markets... Posting on Craig's List... And I Always made $$$ selling them to Riverside Hobbies that was my Goal....I would split the difference...make a few $$$ and then Doug would give me Store Credit for Always a Good Fair Amount. The point of my story is that i have 56 models in my Personal Stash, i always went for the Tamiya Kits on store credit, for as we all know they are pricey I have the Tamiya Lexus LFA $80.00 / Honda RC 166 GP Racer / Lotus Type 79 "1978" $70.00 / Ferrari FXX / even found my grail kit there one day..A Gunze Sangyo "High Tech Model" of the Ferrari 250 GTO Competion along with many other kits...and the point is i Paid Nothing for my Model Kits.. not to mention all the Paints...Detail Parts... and Materials...why i even got my Passche VL Air Brush & Compressor from Riverside Hobbies for free!!...Like i say I Buy....Sell to Riverside...Make $$$ and use my store credit....I lost Nothing....and gained alot SAD....I am very saddend over the fact they are closing...For I am going to miss the hobby friendship i have had with them all...but also for the FACT that i just no longer have a interest to buy model kits from my sources....i was just at the fleamarket yesterday (Saturday) and a guy had about a dozen kits for sale...i stop and look and just kept on walking....Bummer I Can't do anything with them anymore.....I won't buy kits unless i make something in return....For i have just the ones i want....oh i am sure i will always see something i must have.. The impact affects all ......and i mean Everybody....The internet...I will not Buy From....E-BAY No...i don't like Meg Whitman anyhow....I agree with Mike..Support your LHS.... Cheers to all....Happy Holidays....

Happy Thanksgiving ;;;;; Not for me going to the inlaws and they are Vegan !!! 100% ) oh and don't forget to take your shoes off in the house six thousand square feet and you all run around in your socks all day..Slipper's are out of the question....Good Ol'e Joe take you shoes off when you get in the Porsche...can't stand him...but maybe he will give me a ride in the Ferrari
