  7. My family owns some land up north and it has been a storage ground for everyone in the family my uncle was storing a old 70's COE freightliner there. He past away a few years ago I don't know a whole lot about the truck. Well other members in the family want it gone. Long story short it's my truck. Even though I haven't driven it in years and never legally I was only on logging roads. I want to keep it. is there a fan base for these old trucks? Enough of a base where I'd be able were I could get parts to restore it. I was up there this past weekend and it turns over and runs after a little working on it and changed fluids and stuff. I have no clue about the rest of the tractor other then the air pressure wouldn't come up. I really want to do this so any help or info will help

  12. The model I'm looking at I think I should just be able to narrow the window down enough so it can be tilted inward the I could strach build the mechanism I don't know until I try right fellas
  13. Lol I did a spit take on that answer. Guess I have to much imagination
  14. I was wondering have any of you made working wing/vent windows on your models? If you did how did you go about doing out? I think it would be neat to do on a model but not sure it's possible
  15. If you have a daughter just raid her doll house and take all the knobs he-he I only that because a guy in my modeling club did it
  16. Sort of a car book but the art of racing in the rain as told by enzo the dog
  17. No not for me on the last build just the normal clean up. The exhaust had the most clean up of mold lines. Keep an eye out for mold lines between rear window and door they didn't show up until after I primmered it. It is a build I love probably because I had a 71 long time ago. That is the car I almost died in because of a drunk driver forcing me off the road and down a hill on my roof. I miss that car I think that's why I keep building the kit thinking of the memories I had when I do
  18. Fat brian I haven't heard that song in ages is that the song that remarks on how fuzzy dice dangle from rear view mirrors?

  21. Sorry I don't see it that way my opinion. Ya grew grew up old chrysler one of my first cars was a 72 dart super 6 it is still in the family at over 300K I'm still old school MOPAR I own a 63 new yorker, 68 bee & 51 dodge I understand what you guys are saying this could be a great car I'm not denying that. I just wish they would leave the classic names with the classics I'm sure if chevy came out with a wagon and named it a nomad not to many folks would take kindly to it. Just like I'm not taking kindly to this. That's my two cents my opinion people you can't change it I'm not going to argue it. I do hope this is a great car coming out I hope it is one model in a line of soon to be great cars I cross my fingers I just don't think it should be called a dart
  22. Guess I'm just an old stick in the mud
  23. Well don't call it a dart don't call them something that had such a great heritage. If it's not ment to fill the shoes don't use the name that is my opinon
  24. Ok I thought chrysler did an ok job with the challenger but all I can say is boo and hiss to the new chrysler/fiat dart. The car was a legend for multiple reasons from the slant 6 all the way to gran spalding dodge's Hemi darts. The car I saw today in no way can fill the shoes of the darts of past. I wasn't happy with what they did to the charger why did this surprise me? Idk but it did.
