  1. Just don't let it happen again Zac...lol, jk! What another great tutorial, it's gonna be a big help when I go to do my link bars and tabs. Im not a big fan of Nutella but i might have to suck it up and eat a jar, or 3...haha. Thanks again, I appreciate you taken the time to make these tutorials. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your tutorials, what do you have in store next for us?
  2. It's really coming along, nice job with everything. Looking forward to seeing this one finished up.
  3. I'd have to agree. This thing would look sick laid out on the rockers with them rims. Then I would shave the handles, moldings, and anything else necessary, maybe even the tail lights replaced with some thin LED 's and you'll have one clean lookin truck without a ton of work to do. Looks like a great start tho, I'll be watching.

    Some rust

I wasn't going to respond but this almost made me piss myself. I'm with this guy.
  5. Man I thought I was all caught up but I see you've made a lot of progress. That under carriage looks exactly like something that's been through some rough PA/NJ winters, excellent job. I really can't wait for you to get started on this merc, I'm having a blast building mine.
  6. Lol....well good luck with that. I have yet to move any of my modeling stuff, I don't have nearly as much as you but it doesn't sound like fun.
  7. I was looking for this topic the other day after I came across this photo. It for some reason kept reminding me of this build and I just thought it was cool as hell. Check it out. Your build is shaping up nicely, what red are you leaning torwards?
  8. Lol....I was trying to figure out what you were talking about with tall lights. I'm glad you pointed that out tho, I didn't even notice they were mounted like that. Whatever the tail lights may be they are just really cool, nice touch.
  9. Awesome job, such a cool kit.
  10. You did a great job with the rusty truck. It just has the right look with the rusty blue and wheel combo. Well executed
  11. That it is one killer clean Chevy pickup. I love these big trucks slammed. I once owned a 1500 ext cab with the extra long bed bagged on 20s. Wish I still had it but man gas was costly. Anyways nice job on the build, nothing like a slammed truck.
  12. Well keep us up to date with it, I would love to see what your gonna do with it.
  13. Really nice build, I think the rim and tire choice was perfect. Good job.
  14. This thing is really cool! I love all the little touches like the skull, mooneyes, logos on the doors and the weathering looks great. Those tail lights are cool as hell too, what are they off of? I want to say something like a ranchero but I think I'm way off. anyways, nice build.
  15. Nice job on the build Mike. Deffinatly not your every day mercury capri, this thing just looks like someone's toy they take to the track on friday/Saturday nights that they work on in their little garage. Think you did a great job on the wires especially for it being your first attempt. I have yet to attempt the wires and some other details yet but I'll get there one day. Anyways, nice build, what's on the bench for #13?
  16. At first I looked at this and was like, WTF!, why would you put a fake scoop and pipes but I went back and read why you did what you did and I just think it was a brilliant approach to the build. It looks so cool and I think you did a great job executing the build. Nice job and a pretty cool name to go with it.
  17. That came out to be a really cool redo, you did a great job with that. It's a shame what happened to the hood, you should now just put a little cowl induction style to it, then it will really give it that mean look along with that stance you got going on there. Just an idea, overall I just thinks it looks mean with or without the hood, nice build.
  18. I always thought this was a cool looking kit.ive never built one personally but I hope to one day and I think you did a great job with it. Just curious but what are all the parts you scratch built, everything looks like its all supposed to be right where it is?
  19. Thanks David, I really appreciate that. You are more then welcome to do any of the custom work on your merc that I did. I'm sure I wasn't the first to do some of the mods and I'm sure I won't be the last either. I look forward to seeing your merc, thanks again. Thanks Michael, this was actually one of my first attempts at a lot of the mods. Honestly, I just took my time and hoped for the best...lol, so far so good.
  20. Thanks Zac. As of now I only have 2 colors, flat black and lime ice green. Usually you see guys do flat black and paint flames ontop but I think I'm going to reversed it and do the whole body lime ice and the flames flat black just to make it different. I like your ideas of colors, when I get some cash I have to get some more supplies. Lol...thanks Bart, you know how i do, everythings got to be in the weeds. You probably get more updates then anyone which reminds me, how you been? I emailed you a few times and never herd back from ya. I'm assuming your busy as hell so I didn't want to over flow your inbox.
  21. It's funny this topic came back up. I came across night rider the other night on Netflix and I found the episode where he customizes kitt with flames, rims, and wings. Looked a little funny but it would be a cool version to build. It would also be cool to build that cool looking truck with the car. Good luck with the next build, looking forward to seeing it.
  22. Ouch! That sucks but I think it was ment to be, it just looks so good with it chopped like that.
  23. That was the perfect choice of color for this custom especially with that white top. Just beautiful, keep it going
  24. lol....my bad Jim. Magenta, pink, whatever it may be its a beautiful color non the less. Combined with the water spots it just all really goes together so well.
  25. Hey Dave, welcome to all the madness. With a special intro from the doc you must build some killer stuff, I'm gonna have to check out the sites. Looking forward to seeing your work, enjoy.
