  1. You can see here how the frame rails all have these dips in the center so I went ahead and blended them into the notches. I'm done with the frame notches so now I'll move onto making the bridge setup and airbag brackets. I'm going to keep it simple and clean and just do a 2 bar setup with the brackets in between both bars. That's about it for right now, maybe I'll get some bench time this weekend. Comments and suggestions always welcome.
  2. Looking down on the frame you can see the frame gets thinner towards the rear. You can also see were I had already glued in one of the notches and what a difference it is. After installing both I sanded them down to match the original frame rails.
  3. Here's some better angles of the front suspension. Driver's side front Driver's side back Passenger side front Passenger side back Finally got the rear frame notches done with. I wanted them to flow, like they came out of the factory like that. After I cut the notches down some I glued them in place and put a little extra super glue on all the seams to fill any pits. 5. You have some cool tricks up your sleeve. Love the work you've done so far, especially those killer tail lights, been giving me a lot of ideas. Thanks for the inspiration, keep up the good work, I'll be watching.
  6. The weathering is looking food. I like that blue with those rims. Would look sick laid out, keep up the good work.
  7. I have to say out of your recent ford truck post this one is my favorite. I'm a big fan of the show and always loved that truck. Kinda curious what ever happened to his kids slammed truck. I don't remember seeing it finished. Anyways, great job. I think you pretty much got it right on.
  8. This is a great looking truck, would make the perfect shop truck. A lot of cool details, I'd say you nailed the weathering look.im gonna have to try that someday. What type of rims are they, I'm liking them a lot too? Very nice build, great job.
  9. Cool concept, will look good when it's finished. The bed cover and seats backing is really coming together, I wasn't sure about that in the beginning. Keep it going

  11. Thanks Dave. Thanks Bryan
  12. Thanks Ben. Thanks Mark
  13. Thanks Zac. Nice photos, would love to see the whole thing. As for the plate, I'm still undecided.
  14. The body drop would lay the body on the ground. It would already lay side pipes if I was gonna run them. Can't do it anyways because of some clearence issues. Thanks Bill.
  15. Great looking pickup. I like the new rim choice as well, the stance looks good too.
  16. That is one bad cadillac. Love how that body line goes right into that side scoop and the work you did on that frame is clean.
  17. Bryan, that is some really cool stuff. I'm gonna have to look for it next time im in micheals. Thanks for the tutorial, you do some clean work.
  18. Hey stu, I've seen your merc, that paint work looks like glass. I just turned the hot water on, waited till it was at its hottest then held the end I was going to bend under the water for a few mins. Then I bent it CAREFULLY making sure to have a firm grip on the middle. Just take your time, keep it warm, and don't forget to keep checking it so you don't bend it to far. Good luck.
  19. Ok, 1. You must go to the bathroom ALOT! and 2. What exactly is Art Masking Fluid? The project is coming along, everything is turning out really nice, especially the rear bumper. Can't wait to see you do the paint work, keep it going.
  20. Wow, that does sound pretty easy. A lot easier then I would of thought. I wanted to do it to my 32 but wasn't sure exactly how I was going to go about it. Thanks for all the information, I can't wait to try it out. I was thinking of making mine open and close, did you glue it or is it working?
  21. Beautiful ranchero Bob. The front ends on those old rancheros are so mean looking. A lot of nice detail, great build
  22. This is nasty, I really hope your gonna keep this thing on the ground. Cool concept, can't wait to see more.
  23. Have to say that looks great. You made it look just right. Nice work
  24. After taking these last photos I couldn't get the camera to shoot right so I took some quick ones with my wife's phone. I'm hoping to get it a tad bit lower, I may even body drop it to sit the body on the ground. We'll see.
  25. Thanks Bart. Makes a little more sense now that you see what I was trying to explain to you...haha. Thanks Bob. That's exactly what I was going for.
