  3. I'd have to agree with everyone else here, this is one outstanding build, you nailed it. A lot of cool detail, is there a build page?
  4. Now that is one clean smooth cuda. Love the front and rear treatment, and to believe you did this all in 4 days. Nice build
  5. This turned out real nice, love the combo. Nice touch with the port hole window. A lot of fun watching the build up, nice work.
  6. I'm in the mist of trying to get my 49 ' merc frame laid out on the ground and I was hoping I could get some inspiration. You guys build a lot of great stuff, but I rarely see photos of nicely laid out frames with killer air ride setups. I would love to see some model scaled street rod, hot rod, lowrider, or any other kind of nicely detailed frames. So like the title says, let's see em'!
  7. I came across this tonight and it reminded me of your build, thought it was really cool. Have to say, I think I'm diggin your paint choices a little more. Anymore progress? http://cs10748.vkontakte.ru/u12829583/148496988/y_d490611a.jpg
  8. Love the way those fenders just flow right into the rear ones., those are some cool wheels going on, I would also like to know what they are. Nice build so far, keep it going
  9. Man I love this car, also one of my favs. Can't wait to see were your going to take this one doc, I love the satin look with the red rims. It's a win win, keep it going
  10. Lol...ya I figure that's why a lot of people like the hornet, but for some reason it just doesn't look right to me unless it's all laid out on the ground. It's not just this car, I'm like that with any car that has the full skirt. I still like the cars, just not partial to that feature.
  11. That's the best parts hauler I've ever seen. Everything is just killer, awesome build

    Salt Rod

Great stance and overall look. That belly pan is sick, nice build
  13. Wasn't expecting this at all, I really like how you combined the two so cleanly. Can't wait to see how you finish it up
  14. Love the way you got this looking, the roof, wheels, etc. just flows real nicely. Can't wait to see it all finished
  15. I personally like what you have done already. I think the panel side actually looks better and gives that window a real nice line. I'm not oppossed to the rear window either, just like the panel more. I also like what you did to the front wheel opening and the nose but I was wondering if the fenders still flowed into the motor compartment when you open the hood? I thought that was real cool, lookin great tho, keep it up
  16. I'm usually not a fan of the hornet, mostly cause I don't like the whole back wheel covered up but when it's all laid out like that with the killer front end treatment and the wheels, you can't help but love it. Can't wait to see it done, keep it up
  17. Beautiful paint work and trim. Love the color choice, nice job with the frame, gives it that very realistic feeling.
  18. Man you have some really cool concepts. I wasn't sure I was going to like the vette front end on the hauler but I'll be ###### if you didn't make that flow with everything else and that vette hood scoop just looks tough. Can't wait to see it all finished, keep it up.
  19. Great detail on the interior, I think it's cool when you guys add the magazines and misc stuff. I don't know how you mess with those tiny pieces on the suspension, Its hard enough without the added detail. As for my opinion on the body, the thing that sticks out to me are the door handles, hood name plate and the front plates/vents(?) on the back fenders. I would shave them off so they dont take away from the beautiful side moldings and it keeps the flow of the car. Just my two cents, either way i always look forward to seeing what your going to do.
  20. Just mean and tough looking. I'm a big Belair fan and this goes right up there with my favorites. A lot of really cool clean detail, makes me want to get mine done. Nice build, well executed.
  21. What a beautiful bike, clean and simple. If I didn't know any better, I would of thought it was a real bike by those photos. Nice build and photography.
  22. I saw this when you first put it on the workbench then lost track of it. I had no idea this is what you were building, just cool as hell. Again with the craftsmanship, amazing. The first time I ever saw anything like this was on youtube of a man who built one powered with a v-8. Yours reminds me of his but in the very early stages. Nicely done. Here's what he build http://www.newyorkunicycle.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/mcLean-V8-Monowheel1.jpg Here's a YouTube video, I think he builds 3 different sizes http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gdq4wer7vgk He crashes in this one http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K4YmVP6i4qw
  23. WOW! Just wow. I literally just picked my jaw up off the ground. So much detail, love the way you ran the exhaust, and nice surprise with the side car. I actually think that's one of my favorite parts of this build, just brought everything together nicely. I agree with Luke, the end result was not expected, but it exceeded much more then what I or a lot of us could of ever imagined. Excellent craftsmanship, my hats off to you sir
  24. Glad to see you posted up a build thread. Looks good in that blue. Can't wait to see the changes you make. I noticed it looks like your heating the plastic round bar? If you are just remember, it bends fairly easy, if your using a light move the flame around only for a few seconds. If there is smoke or there are smoke marks on the plastic your holding the flame on there to long. Try bending it under hot water, easier to bend and it won't distort the plastic either. Btw, I was thinking about your build the other day and how I want to try my hand at baggin my 49 merc. I've done real trucks just never in scale size. I looked through some of my saved links, take a look, they should help you a long the way. Good luck http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52587&st=0&p=598694&hl=+air%20+bags&#entry598694 http://public.fotki.com/LoFrontier/models/splash/
  25. I get what your saying. I used to be the same way but being broke as hell i realized a lot of it can be scratch built from old/un-used parts or the old parts trees. Personally, I think the link bars look great and more realistic being round, but to each his own. As for the airbags, they are just little rubber o rings you can get from the hardware store with a hand full of change.
