  1. Earl, sorry I didn't see your post before but those are some really sweet looking builds. Thanks for posting them up.
  2. Came across this tonight and thought you guys might like it. It's an actuall resin kit for the camaro wagon, not sure if it's a good kit but it's pretty cool. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on this one day. Here's the link to the page to buy the kit http://www.kaucherkustoms.com/resin-kits/
  3. Thanks for the help, I'm certain it wasn't a corvette though. Had the body of a late 60s early 70s chevele, nova, malibu, something along those lines. Thanks anyways
  4. Thankyou for looking but I don't believe this was the kit. I came across this myself last night while looking, the flames dont look the same and I'm not sure it's the right body style. thanks again for trying.
  5. I have been trying to remember all the kits I had as a kid, so far so good but I got to this one car I just can't figure out what it was. All I remember is that it had these killer solid black flames outlined in yellow, a cowl induction hood like a 69 camero, chrome 5 spoke mag rims, and it was white (probably not painted, just out of box) I know it was a muscle car and im pretty sure it was a Chevy of some sort. Im thinking malibu, chevelle, nova, etc. I can't seem to find any photos of anything similar so if anyone could help me out in any way I'd appreciate it.
  6. This is a great looking merc. It's gonna look even better then the last one you built. I like how you smoothed everything out, can't wait to see where you take this
  7. That's a cool concept. Can't wait to see how it comes together.
  8. This came out killer! It was a lot of fun to watch on the workbench, thanks for sharing.
  9. Wow, some really nice details! Great build!
  10. Nice merc, I love what you did with the front end.
  11. Really cool setup, the smiley face was a nice touch. Great build!
  12. Thanks everyone, I appreciate the support. I'm on hold until I can figure out what wheel combo I want to use. I'm also having trouble with a few other things so it's going a lot slower then expected. On a good note I did how ever come up with a name. I figure since this is my first time attempting all these mods I shall call it, " Cherry Poppin' ". Not sure if it's to inappropriate but if so just let me know I'll change it. here's some mock up photos Stock 32' steelies just don't look right The ford tires I love the look of the 49' merc rims they just aren't wide enough. Merc tires (bad angle) Was thinking of using the other 49' merc rims for the front Thanks for looking, opinions always welcomed.
  13. That is a great color, is it the lime ice? It's really coming together nicely, the decals really set it off.
  14. This is looking great! I love your color choices and the decals look killer. Keep it up Ira
  15. I used this tutorial for my 32 5 window and it worked out great, you can always add your little touches here and there. I'm sure if you search on here there are plenty of examples of Z'ing. good luck http://cs.scaleautomag.com/SCACS/forums/t/94528.aspx
  16. Moving right along. I didn't notice this before until you put it into primer but I love how those panel lines carry onto the body, over the rear wheels and on the roof. I almost would rather just see it in a solid color so you don't lose all these beautiful lines but it's not gonna matter either way, it's gonna look killer. I'm excited to see it coming all together
  17. Sweet, I look forward to seeing them done. Should we give you some sort of deadline to help you turn out some more great work? lol So do you have any build pages? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see your work
  18. Your girl must of scored some major points when she brought that home for ya. What a cool kit, I really can't wait to see what you do with this one. You going shine or rust? Whatever you pick I'm sure you'll do it justice, I'll be keeping my eye on this one along with the others.
  19. Man you move right along with your builds. I still have yet to finish any of mine. Looking forward to seeing this finished, nice build.
  20. Another great build! I love your details, you always put a lot of thought into it.
  21. So what happened to these 2 great builds? I was really excited to see how they turned out. Some really clean work, I like your style.
  22. I was just looking at the photos thinking the same thing. Everything flows torwards the back then the skirts are pointing the other way. I would suggest what rob said and reverse them and maybe straighten the bottom of the skirts to match. Just a suggestion but other then that it's a great build, some cool ideas.
  23. I like the clean and slammed look but what if you did something a little different. Maybe do something like a delivery truck or and ice cream truck just laid out. I dunno, always thought they looked cool. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
  24. I love flames. I think flames should be on just about everything. Very nice merc, clean!
