  1. Such a subtle color, and yet such an attractive car/model! Well done!
  2. Good looking build of a much-maligned kit. Did you fold the wings yourself, or was that an option of this kit? I'm betting on you...
  3. Nice model. Your choice of color really works well on the old Chevy, and Cragars always look good to me!
  4. Nice work, and looks great in silver!
  5. Crazzzy!! Never seen that before. Kinda looks like someone slapped a T-bird roof on Cushenbery's Silhouette!! I'm digging it.
  6. Amt 70 Impala, 67 Impala, 66 or 70 Wildcat, Revell 65 and 66 Impala. Lots of big body kits close enough, not a lot changed under the bottom, just details like exhaust type, routing, etc.
  7. Why? It's a CUSTOM! You could back fit a dash from the much crisper AMT '62 T-bird, or go full custom and use the custom podded dash from AMT's 58 Impala, or whatever else suits your vision...
  8. Sharp car, that blue looks really good on there!
  9. That interior really is nicely detailed! Sharp build.
  10. I've built this one and the Monogram 70 Roadrunner, and one had the problem more so than the other, and I'm pretty sure it was this one. Still some of my favorite kits to build.
  11. Your words!? That grille is going to look good once a black wash hits it.
  12. Good start. These kits build up nicely, but do watch the front-to-rear spacing of the wheels within the wheel wells. I recall having to tweak the fit just a bit to get them properly centered.
  13. Welcome to the forum, Jeff!
  14. Lookin' good in red, and that engine bay is especially well done.
  15. Nice save, and a beautiful display piece for sure.
  16. I take it you made a trip to Ollie's a while back?! That's where I found mine. (Bugatti too)
  17. Got a couple of these, so it's good to see that it can look so nice! Well done.

    AMT 68 GTO

Great shade of blue that flatters the body, and vice-versa. I'm so glad we got this kit! Well done, and I hope mine turns out nearly as well.
  19. Cool take on this one; love that bass boat flake!
  20. VERY attractive model work so far!
  21. Very nice do-over so far!
  22. Cool stuff. I think this is a perfect candidate for customizing, it has some great body lines, and the included customizing pieces are pretty nice. Not a big fan of white interiors myself, but it's your car! I'd likely go dark blue metallic/pearl exterior with silvery-blue pearl interior with dark blue carpet. I'd lose the top altogether, but if you want a top, how about ditching the vent windows and doing a "gentleman's chop"? For the grille, I think the tube grille insert would look so much better if you cut out the center of the grille and sink the chrome back in further. OR, just chrome paint/ black wash the grille mesh detail and go with that instead. (?) I'd smooth the hood, maybe just put a small peak down the center; there's something distracting about the "beak", looks "Pontiac-ish". Just throwing out ideas; after all, it's a custom! Looking forward to seeing YOUR ideas implemented!
  23. Fantastic attention to detail, and I really like your choice of reference vehicle; that black and red is wicked!
  24. Very cool stock build. Clean build, but the engine really sells it for me; quite realistic appearance. Well done.
