  1. Great looking color, and this body doesn't need a spoiler to look good, just look at the lines flowing over that side view! Well done.
  2. Overall external proportions look pretty good. Some of the trim is a bit heavy, but not bad at all for the scale. Looking at close-up pics, it's easy to forget just how small these kits are compared to what we normally see! You made a very nice looking display piece here. Good job. I would love to see a 1/25 version of this fine looking automobile from Moebius!
  3. Paint and foil are immaculate, and the car looks just right! I think the wheels work very nicely with the dark green. ( Beautiful color choice, BTW) Looks like a serious street machine. Love how the high rise three deuce setup fits under the hood; man that's gotta be a close fit!
  4. Cool idea, and already looking good!
  5. About as good as that kit can look. Gorgeous paint!
  6. I'm really liking the color choices of the cars/decals. The whiplash build above is especially snazzy!
  7. All those little improvements really paid big dividends! Good work.
  8. This was a really fun ride-along, thanks for the WIP. It turned out so nice, probably the best build ever done of this kit!
  9. It may have challenged you, but you can't tell it from the finished product! Nice job.
  10. Very nice looking model. Love the concept, loving the unusual color. Very cool!
  11. Great choices made for a period-perfect rod. Nicely done.
  12. Very good work!
  13. Great family portrait!
  14. Nice, slick, red = already a race car!
  15. Very nice color; really changes the "feel" of the car!
  16. Great looking body style, it will look nice in that blue. I did a '64 in a similar dark blue, and was very happy with how it looked. Good lines can wear just about any color well.
  17. Common NASCAR kit wheel, paint with Molotow or similar.
  18. Not sure how far along you are as far as calling this one ready to print, but if I may count rivets, there are 4 things bugging me: ( and you may already be aware; they don't call you Mr.Obsessive for nothing!). First, the length of the front fender in front of the wheel opening - too long, should taper/curve more abruptly. Others noted in pic:
  19. That's kinda cool!
  20. Looking good so far! I had your same idea about converting a '70, then I actually scored a deal on a '69 AMT body! So a little cut and paste from the Buick and I'm this far along...
  21. Would LOVE to see your '69 Impala print.
  22. Remember that some kits even had a "Street is Neat" plastic badge you could paint and pin to your shirt or hat!
  23. I'm a sucker for mags on old hot rods, but you do your thing! All three are fine choices, depending on the style you want.
