  1. Neat find, and I'm glad to see you building it! Will be watching...
  2. That was unexpected! I'm digging the unique look it gives the car. Creative thinking here, so carry on...
  3. Agreed, but that Mercury is one of my favorite early 60s body styles of all, and you get bonus points for one of my favorite color schemes for said Merc. Beautiful!
  4. Very impressive modeling!
  5. Nice builds! I've always had a soft spot for the Paddy Wagon myself. Very cool of you to add the garage display, it really ups the visual impact. Well done.
  6. Just to be sure....it does as I suspected. Needs trimming at the wheel wells due to different body side contours. Simple fix!
  7. Should, may have to trim the pan a bit to get the best fit. I have been working off and on with a '65 from the 90s with all its goofs, and the chassis I'm going with is from the AMT '66 Olds 442, as they were once plentiful and cheap. Lots of interchangeability prospects, consider '66 Olds, Lindberg 67 Olds, AMT and Revell 65 and 67 Chevelles (both stock and pro street available), Lindberg (now AMT) 66 Chevelle, aforementioned 66 GTO, and so on. Chevy pans will need to swap out trans cross member for the correct B-O-P style.
  8. That color is perfect for this body style! Good choice. Is this resin body based off an old JoHan kit, and is it still available?
  9. Thanks once again for the excellent photo coverage and sharing your work with us. GREAT pics! Very cool that there were record-breaking numbers, and is it just me or is the overall quality just insanely high these days?! The bar is raising every year.
  10. Really cool color choice. Looking good.
  11. Nice clean build of this classic kit. I'm loving the oldies that Atlantis is bringing back; sometimes you just want a simpler build, and with attention to build quality and proper paint, they can make for very nice display pieces as you have proven. Good job.
  12. Excellent color choices; it just looks so right from all angles! Beautiful build. Are those wheels from the kit? Very nice spoke illusion.
  13. Very cool! What color is that; I'm loving it!
  14. Good score! Man, that box art is gorgeous!
  15. Very nice! Impressively clean and neat, especially considering it's in 1/72 scale! You should build more aircraft.
  16. Very sharp! Great looking clean build.
  17. That is SO nice! Very well done.?
  18. Another informative and fun read! I really like the kit bashing inspiration these ships inspire.
  19. Fun project has become pun project! Loving it.
  20. That candy red really shows off the chrome accents. Perfect color, this is looking sooooo good!
  21. This is a very sharp model, you really hit it out of the park. Aztec Bronze is beautiful on the big Chevies. Nostalgia builds tend to motivate us, don't they?! I really need to build my old '66, but I have so many projects begun ahead of it. Builds like this make me think "maybe I could bump it up just a notch or two..." Well done.
  22. Very cool collection. Nicely done!
  23. Pretty car! The '57 Ford really 2-tones well.
  24. Nice! Steam and sail; an interesting transitional time.
