  1. Nice save, and a beautiful display piece for sure.
  2. I take it you made a trip to Ollie's a while back?! That's where I found mine. (Bugatti too)
  3. Got a couple of these, so it's good to see that it can look so nice! Well done.

    AMT 68 GTO

Great shade of blue that flatters the body, and vice-versa. I'm so glad we got this kit! Well done, and I hope mine turns out nearly as well.
  5. Cool take on this one; love that bass boat flake!
  6. VERY attractive model work so far!
  7. Very nice do-over so far!
  8. Cool stuff. I think this is a perfect candidate for customizing, it has some great body lines, and the included customizing pieces are pretty nice. Not a big fan of white interiors myself, but it's your car! I'd likely go dark blue metallic/pearl exterior with silvery-blue pearl interior with dark blue carpet. I'd lose the top altogether, but if you want a top, how about ditching the vent windows and doing a "gentleman's chop"? For the grille, I think the tube grille insert would look so much better if you cut out the center of the grille and sink the chrome back in further. OR, just chrome paint/ black wash the grille mesh detail and go with that instead. (?) I'd smooth the hood, maybe just put a small peak down the center; there's something distracting about the "beak", looks "Pontiac-ish". Just throwing out ideas; after all, it's a custom! Looking forward to seeing YOUR ideas implemented!
  9. Fantastic attention to detail, and I really like your choice of reference vehicle; that black and red is wicked!
  10. Very cool stock build. Clean build, but the engine really sells it for me; quite realistic appearance. Well done.
  11. Very nice; looks fantastic in red.
  12. You did the ol' kit much justice. Well done!
  13. Very cool!
  14. Beautiful car and model. Well done.
  15. Very nicely done pair of models. Loving the intricacy of the gun model. Well done!
  16. Excellent job!
  17. That's one boxing, but don't pay that much; you can find much better deals on it. For example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/314603304021?hash=item493fd17455:g:ckMAAOSwwplkaRmf&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwPlhjaT3%2BDDdFffDWC3jfAKih5RVK86KRb6Ou%2BbGF4cT4XxTHAnQSicmlx0pQzK6EjWQs1RYNkKm5Y29mIKj5fajWLGes4OKG6mr8h4S78pkFVovu1M1wQk3mfiFtKunHAz5Wgj3egvXhKIW8SrIFGRrRjHJVck1Jko%2FHcb5M9NFVP3wZ4DRqBd9W4vbtBh%2FjHJCRneNImBDuQqD%2Fik2uwrwX%2BZHOciGwAbL5H2fiX2AlFoSi2CgWF9ddCJVrNf9wA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4Tj--6IYg This one shows some nice sprue shots: https://www.ebay.com/itm/234997480225?hash=item36b6f0fb21:g:nHIAAOSwv05kUsEs&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwJ3CbnSFt6Z%2FKk97SkH9%2FZpHATB%2BaZCAgS20eYOrLOtI3VBVmeC%2FvweL2oVHDpIuFf4Z51mho5yQWVWqKJiOXUxukIKlt2lM0HYp7mEzkmlkKUJ3E50q4xNzQOJfb1sCori9%2BQnLfilRptRzViMsWM3961yw69Pn8gge%2BPPKP29m%2BB0DvvQQv7RwIDB191S84zaY5EN9Co1Wa%2FtLN6G9t3yNjKtbOO1Vcyr5yS87RiYtTRAHxsBf%2Fiy2oFQbtLfODQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-jrse-IYg You may post in the "Wanted" or "Trading Post" section of the forum to see if a member might have an extra kit to sell or trade. Good luck!
  18. Agreed, it has a nice scale-correct appearance IMHO. Pricey, but factoring in the cost (or even availability) of plating these days, it might not be so bad viewed as cost-per-model basis. It's an impressive finish for sure.
  19. Fun stuff, and really cool example of back-to-basics model building for the pure fun of it. For me, it's a few of the Tom Daniel kits from Monogram, but even more so the wonderful caricature kits from Revell by Dave Deal. Deal's Wheels FTW!
  20. NICE! OK, now share with us the paints used, please?! ( The gold and the engine red ) Beautiful look.
  21. Gorgeous color, clean build...perfect!
  22. This was fun to watch come together. Beautiful model full of perfect period-rod touches, and the weathered finish is the crowning touch. Nicely done!
  23. Oooooh, that creamy off white looks SO good on that body. What color/paint is that?
  24. Excellent work!
