Nice clean build of this classic kit. I'm loving the oldies that Atlantis is bringing back; sometimes you just want a simpler build, and with attention to build quality and proper paint, they can make for very nice display pieces as you have proven. Good job.
This is a very sharp model, you really hit it out of the park. Aztec Bronze is beautiful on the big Chevies. Nostalgia builds tend to motivate us, don't they?! I really need to build my old '66, but I have so many projects begun ahead of it. Builds like this make me think "maybe I could bump it up just a notch or two..." Well done.
Loved this one. I clearly remember building this kit and painting it a Testors bottle paint that was a light purple. This pic brought a flood of good memories! Thank you for posting it. It would be a Grail kit for me as well.
I'm not a HUGE fan of funny cars, but man is that a sharp car or what?! Beautifully done model, it has such an impressive and realistic "sit". Very well done.
Very interesting subject, and nicely done! Love these early designs, and the experimenting that was so prevalent in aircraft design at the time. Good job.
Love it, and am a fan of Heller kits in general. As for the plane, it reminds me of my favorite quote concerning identifying WW2 planes; " If it's weird, it's French. If it's ugly, it's Russian. If it's weird and ugly, got to be Italian"
