  1. Those are about the best brush paint-jobs I have ever seen... They look almost impossibly smooth! I'd like to know your technique And, if I may make a suggestion... Accentuating the panel lines with some darker shade of colors you have used, or very thinly applied black paint, will make these beautiful models look even more realistic
  2. That engine is rather realistic looking
  3. Simply amazing... I spent about a half an hour looking at the pics Clearly, lots of work was put into those... Are the wheels on the hauler new Pegasus products?
  4. That's a change! Looks great Any more pics, perhaps?
  5. That's a great style... I like the satin paint
  6. Nice Shelby... looks good with those wheels... I agree with the antenna being too thick... Stretched sprue also works well...
  7. Charlie, yes, that's pretty much it! Tasty stuff
  8. Nice... I like your display
  9. Sweet model... It has a great stance and I kinda like the primer look. But it could use some chrome on the door-handles, window trim and wipers, among other things...
  10. Thanks for the tip... I sure will
  11. I love 40's coupes, and your Ford looks great so far I have yet to attempt a nail polish paint-job... Might try it on my Willys
  12. Might be an issue now that it's painted and glued in place, but I do agree... Same with the seam on top of the radiator, also common in most kits... Definitely something to keep in mind for future builds. Lots of people tend to overlook this... Looks great, otherwise, and I was going to say... This can't be your first kit ever!
  13. It just depends on what you have to hide... Yes, it is possible to find out what your name is and where you live, but I'm sure that information can't be too incriminating? Nobody can sweep your bank account or take possession of your property just because you are a member of a modeling forum
  14. Shame... It has been a while since I last ordered from them, but ScaleDreams sure did have some cool items...
  15. Thanks for the kind words, Marty! I've also added you to my list of great traders on page 4, since we're not allowed multiple posts here
  16. Nice Is that gun metal?
  17. Zero paints may not be totally cheap, true, but not only are they among the most user friendly, airbrush ready paints I have ever worked with, they are the only kind of modeling paints, color-matched to real automotive paint, that actually have metallic flakes in scale. At least from what I've been able to find in Europe...
  18. Cool! Thanks for all the answers, guys I'll have to look into all of those and see what I can get my hands on this side of the pond
  19. Thanks for the quick reply, guys! I'll look into this Any tutorials on how to print or paint on it, perhaps?
  20. Basically, I'd like to make a checkered flag in 1/24 - 1/25 scale, so it would have to be material that can be printed or painted on, and that falls more loosely and realistically than paper, for instance... Any ideas?
  21. Great detail, I like the open and hinged doors... But those flames are something else! I like them... I just wouldn't expect a SP bike with such a van
  22. That is a spectacular bash-job! I really like it I wish this was readily available on the market.
  23. That is a very worthwhile rebuild
  24. Another sweet Shelby! Only, with the low profile tires, the front could sit slightly lower
