  1. Is that the Fujimi Enthusiast series kit? It looks great so far! I'm liking the color-combo
  2. I like it! Especially that crankshaft as the front nerf bar... Really neat idea The sun visor and louvered rear deck are also nice touches. Just one thing... Your hot rod seems to be a bit "cross-eyed"... Watch out for the headlight alignment
  3. I wasn't trying to put Beyonce down as a performer at all... I just think this nicely demonstrates the state of the contemporary music industry, which, in turn, reflects on the quality of the product itself in a major way. Case in point, ten people (and this is a true story) collaborating on garbage with above posted lyrics, in comparison to a a true work of art such as Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Today, it's all about money, at least when it comes to popular music, no real passion and desire for making actual music and whatnot...
  4. I think this about sums it up...
  5. Sad news... RIP mr. Manzarek... As a tribute... A master-piece of music and a great video
  6. I certainly didn't mean to criticize, I was just suggesting. It looks great so far!
  7. I agree, most commercially available flocking materials seem way out of scale to me and I usually avoid using it... Personally, I find that very fine grit sandpaper, cut into shape and painted, works well for simulating interior carpeting... It's a bit difficult to use on curved surfaces, but I think it looks decent on flat areas
  8. I just checked out your entire topic... Fantastic progress!
  9. Among the best Bees I've ever seen
  10. This one's coming together very nicely! Great wheels, and I really like the enginebay detail...
  11. Looks nice... It might be due to camera flash, but that interior looks a little too shiny, however. You might want to "dull" it down a bit with some flat clear
  12. Awesome job on opening the doors and trunk... Great looking model
  13. Thanks for the answer... I do know a fastback body exists, but never saw a convertible. I would like to know what the old box art for the convertible looks like... I've never seen one of those.
  14. Awesome wheels, and a great color combo!
  15. That 69 Shelby is just awesome! I've never seen it before... Is it an all-new kit?
  16. BMF - Bare Metal Foil, a thin self-adhesive foil for simulating effects of chrome trim etc... Black wash - letting a light coat of black paint seep in between the grilles so as to add "depth"... Nice Charger, otherwise Hope I've helped
  17. That is one mean looking Charger! I kinda like the stance... Looks great in white, too, and I definitely need to get my hands on one of those engines
  18. We have the same problem, then Perhaps someone else can identify what kit these wheels are originally from?
  19. Thanks, Rodney Keep in mind, however, those vertical panel lines do exist on the real car, and I'll be re-scribing them, but for those unfamiliar with this kit - this is what it looked like after gluing the front clip to the body: Only the Grand Canyon is more impressive than these gaping gorges
  20. In my opinion, a perfect General Lee would have to be bashed from the AMT/MPC car (for decals, wheels, push-bar and other accessories), and Revell's 68 and 69 Chargers - 68 for the body (69 has vinyl roof), and 69 for everything else... As far as the engine goes, I really don't know what the actual car(s) were powered by, but somehow I doubt it would have been a Hemi... Just an opinion, I might very well be wrong. MATIJA
  21. What an awesome mutant!
  22. This will be a mean looking "grocery-getter" once it's done... I like it!
  23. That is fantastic... Those headers are awesome!
  24. Here's another "interesting" one... A scrawny French kid doing chin-ups hanging from a 600 ft. crane in Paris... Video is appropriately titled, too I guess it would be hypocritical of me to criticize other people's hobbies, but I think I'll stick with building plastic cars LOL
  25. Sweet Camaro! My favorite year for that car What wheels are those, BTW? I have the exact same set, but got them in a parts box purchase and have no idea which kit they are originally from
