Mr. Hettick's only real competition on ebay. I believe he also did this, which went into the $700-ish range IIRC. This takes a style, like taking plain resin wagons and fabricating all the little details to make them into nice Squire replicas which are hot in the market right now. And you have to have enough patience to build like that for someone other than yourself, which, alas, I don't. I used to, but that's another story. I'm happy for the seller, because nothing about these successes happened overnight.

Amazing build, I agree that the first few pics make it look like a real car. I like how the paint has scale metallic flake, adds to the overall realistic glow.

Exhaust: The transfer case and front drive shaft made it near-impossible to route a clean dual system and not have it hang too low on the left, so I made a 2 to 1 single system with parts box exhaust parts and a 3" sprue tailpipe. The exit ahead of the rear wheel is standard off-road configuration. -MJS

Why didn't I think of leaving the rear chassis screws loose to make a sort of "hinge"? Pure genius. -MJS
