  1. Neat little cop car. They might have made functional city units, Phoenix had a fleet of Celebritys in the mid '80s, and those couldn't have been much faster. -MJS
  2. Thanks Mike, and stay warm! -Mike
  3. It's been a mystery since 1965 why there was never a '65 Comet kit, a great oversight has been righted 49 years later. I'm hoping that Moebius does a better overall job with the shape of this series of car than Trumpeter did with the Falcons, being a little too large and square. -MJS
  4. I built this real one for a friend about ten years ago. Revell doesn't always get their proportioning right, but they did here, the kit captures the entirely different Custom series body very well. -MJS
  5. Beautiful in every way! -MJS
  6. Tough looking Falcon, the color, stance, and wheels are right on the money. The Webbers would make it an exotic street car. -MJS
  7. Those low prices had a high price after all, eh? -MJS
  8. It's mainly the interior, the base 4 cyl/police/5.0 LX interior with the phone dial wheels could be either the civilian '90, and no later, or the police version to '93. No police car ever had the Pony wheels, and no civilian '91-'93 pony wheel equipped car ever had the base seats/interior; all had the sport seats and tweed upholstery. '91-'93 civilian 5.0 LXs were only equipped with the Pony wheels, the phone dials those years were police/SSV only. Also, the kit has no door panel pockets, which were added in '90, so the door panels are not correct for the '90 anyway. So to make it a correct '91-'93, the Pony wheels will have to be added with wider, lower profile tires, the seats and upholstery will have to be changed, and the door panel pockets will have to be added. -MJS
  9. A timeless beauty, that car is. -MJS
  10. Fantastic work. I've always liked the W2; it's kind of like a Countach, only more so. -MJS
  11. Ken, I just so happen to have a pair of taillight lenses from a Nichimo 1:16 scale '68 Shelby. Think you could use them? -MJS
  12. Not only does it include the wheel decals, but I used them on my red coupe, on your resin Pony wheels. -MJS
  13. Sure. If you can post pictures of them, we can tell you what they are and how old. -MJS
  14. Beautiful job. There was a Fotomat near me in a grocery store parking lot for ever, the main building still stands and is now a drive-up bottled water kiosk. Desert, you know. -MJS
  15. Quite the assortment, quite the imagination, quite the quality. -MJS
  16. Great build and details, and I always like models of actual cars. -MJS
  17. I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!
  18. What is this "snow" you speak of? -MJS
  19. Looks great! -MJS
  20. Looking great, Those 19" Pegasus sleeves are darn useful, I wish there was still an easy way to get them. -MJS
  21. Fantastic job, I've never seen a stock one in any scale, including 1:1. It's a nice looking car in stock form. -MJS
  22. I say the stock hood, but with the center curved down for radiator exhaust like on a GT40. -MJS
  23. Wow, very impressive conversion, looks correct from all angles. -MJS
  24. Thanks Sean. I've been admiring your builds, and photography, for some time. I need to visit your site for the Petty Turbine car story. -Mike
  25. Thanks Tyrone. I've been following your Outlaw build too, and it's very impressive. I love the stance, and I'm looking forward to seeing your final color scheme and finishing detail choices. I think that the kit body is perfect for an outlaw car, as you see them with lowered roofs and other mods to make them more stable at 200+ MPH. Thank you Niko. They are available, PM Greg Wann for a price shipped overseas. -Mike S.
