  1. Looks fantastic. I wonder about using a thin, light battery and small motor to make it actually hover... Might be a fun project some day.
  2. Looks great!
  3. Looks great so far!
  4. Just finished this one today. The color is Duplicolor Chrysler Flame Red. All the chrome is retouched with FusionFirm chrome.
  5. Had one of these in my stash given to me by my brother and started working on it. Found that the clear parts are missing. Anyone got a spare set? Would be willing to trade/pay.
  6. Done this on my 55 Chevy stepside. Used Washi woodgrain tape and BMF. Came out awesome!
  7. There was a little hole on the interior where on another kit there might've been a center console. I covered it with a fire extinguisher from the parts bin. The surrounds for the grill lights, tail lights, door handles and touch-up on the main chrome was done with FusionFirm Chrome applied with a brush.
  8. Just finished this one today. The color is Duplicolor, and the top stripes are paint instead of decals. I'd started building this one some time ago but parked it for a while and decided to finish it.
  9. Was that Gunsmith Cats?
  10. Just switched to the FusionFirm Chrome too. It's brighter and smoother than the pens, and it's more touch resistant
  11. Was looking at the pictures of the car and wondered for a second why the color scheme looked familiar. Duh! EVA Unit 1 .
  12. Got in a Revell Land Rover Series III and my FusionFirm chrome
  13. I'd have to have one for each foot.
  14. I just ordered some of this. I'll try it out and post the results too.
  15. Beautiful Porsche! I love the color. Fantastic job!
  16. Styrene addiction is real. Welcome! One of us....
  17. I usually use Easy-Off to "de-paint", it dissolves the foil along with the paint. Easy-Off makes model building easier!
  18. Had one in a previous vehicle, 1969 Dodge A100 van. It was a weird little thing. 3 on the tree with a Slant-6, drum brakes all the way around (which was fun when I had to replace the brake pistons on the front). It had overheat problem until I got it down and gutted the thermostat. I'd replaced it, but it didn't help. Ran great for a while, then some jackass who was stalking my wife sabotaged it. Off topic, sorry.
  19. Cricut pattern cutter. I wanted one for a long time, got one and haven't used it yet. I've got ideas...
  20. I did improve the gauge cluster. The piece isn't very deep and the bezels aren't the right diameter for the decals, so I bored out the gauges all the way through and then traced out the part on a piece of styrene, then fixed the decals to the styrene and glued it to the back of the cluster. Looks much better.
