  1. Was looking at the pictures of the car and wondered for a second why the color scheme looked familiar. Duh! EVA Unit 1 .
  2. Got in a Revell Land Rover Series III and my FusionFirm chrome
  3. I'd have to have one for each foot.
  4. I just ordered some of this. I'll try it out and post the results too.
  5. Beautiful Porsche! I love the color. Fantastic job!
  6. Styrene addiction is real. Welcome! One of us....
  7. I usually use Easy-Off to "de-paint", it dissolves the foil along with the paint. Easy-Off makes model building easier!
  8. Had one in a previous vehicle, 1969 Dodge A100 van. It was a weird little thing. 3 on the tree with a Slant-6, drum brakes all the way around (which was fun when I had to replace the brake pistons on the front). It had overheat problem until I got it down and gutted the thermostat. I'd replaced it, but it didn't help. Ran great for a while, then some jackass who was stalking my wife sabotaged it. Off topic, sorry.
  9. Cricut pattern cutter. I wanted one for a long time, got one and haven't used it yet. I've got ideas...
  10. I did improve the gauge cluster. The piece isn't very deep and the bezels aren't the right diameter for the decals, so I bored out the gauges all the way through and then traced out the part on a piece of styrene, then fixed the decals to the styrene and glued it to the back of the cluster. Looks much better.
  11. Just got this one finished today. Color is Rust-Oleum gloss neon green lacquer, interior is light grey and dark grey. Mostly box stock, but the reflectors for the low beams were missing, so I punched out a couple of circles of plastic and used the end of an xacto handle to shape them.
  12. Looks great!
  13. Gorgeous! Fantastic job!
  14. Neat! I've got the Wrebbit card stock version of this
  15. Here they are! All 3 are transformable, but I'm missing the parts for the VF-2SS. I may take her apart before long to repaint. I built it years ago.
  16. Do want! I had this kit way back in the day and had fond memories. Would love to build another.
  17. Saw a right-hand drive Nissan Figaro on Kenny Rd today.
  18. I had a similar issue with my Revell Porsche slantnose. It was red plastic, and I was originally going to paint it pearl white, but the plastic bled through. Came out a pretty pearl pink when I was done.
  19. Used it on a couple of kits so far. Used the matte blue for my Tyrrell P34 (yeah I know, it's metallic) and I'm using the neon green for a 2008 Dodge Charger Super Bee. Makes a decent replacement for Sublime Green. Dries really quick, and no real awful smell more than any other paint.
  20. Mischief Managed! Found out that the USB port under the dash will pick up a thumb drive and the stereo will read MP3, so I loaded a 15GB one with a bunch of ripped music Now I've got Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Grim Reaper, Avantasia, Kamelot....
  21. Had a 2011 GMC Acadia that died about 3 weeks ago (last few weeks have been an "adventure"). Alternator went out and after it was replaced it just never started again. Was able to get a 2020 Chevy Equinox with 132000 miles for $8400. It's in great shape and drives well. I miss the CD player, but I'll manage.
  22. Looks great! Got this kit in the stash. May have to build it soon.
  23. Right now I don't even have a 1:1 running car. Acadia ate the alternator, now it wont start after replacing. The loaner ran for about a week, and it wont start now either.
