  1. got in a Testors/Italeri set, Porsche 911 Turbo and Lamborghini Diablo Special. Nice kits, got them for about $15 including shipping. The Porsche looks a lot better than the Revell kit.
  2. Be careful of the front suspension on this kit. I found the upper A-arms aren't very stiff and the spindles pop loose. Depends on if you decide to keep the working steering. Nice work!
  3. Testors/Italeri Ferrari F-40 kit for $15 including shipping. All complete. Not too shabby.
  4. Also Blick Art Supply, Hobby Lobby, etc.
  5. I haven't had any problems yet. My sheets generally sit out for months at a time before they're used up. Never had one not stick yet.
  6. How about a reissue of the Subaru Brat kit? I've seen pictures of the kit and it looked awesome.
  7. Thunderhawk is looking great! Can't wait to see what you do with the rest.
  8. They're VERY nice. The tires are hard plastic, but it's very detailed. There's a '31 Cadillac in the same series that's also quite nice.
  9. Depending on the paint, Brake fluid may not cut it. I had a lacquer painted Jaguar that I ended up using 91% alcohol on to strip. It took it down to the bare plastic, though.
  10. Nice paint job! I know what you mean about the stance issue. I've got a completed one I'm actually going to take back apart to fix.
  11. Got the Revell "Tweedy Pie" kit by Daddy Roth for $11.99 at Discount Drug Mart. They've got a pretty decent model section for a non-hobby place.
  12. Very nice! I so want one of these. I love Morgans.
  13. I get model ADD from time to time, and will switch kits. Not very often, though. More often, I will box a kit through sheer frustration. I almost shelved an AMT Camaro concept recently but was able to power through. Fit was terrible, huge amounts of flash, an engine and interior that wouldn't look out of place on a Tonka toy...
  14. Very nice work on the dash. You're off to a good start.
  15. Got some Christmas money, so I picked up a few things. Got an AMT 49 Mercury 2 door, Revell 68 Corvette Rebel Racer, Hasegawa Ferrari 348TS and Revell 49 Mercury Woody (should be here tomorrow). I love Christmas money.
  16. Great paints. I NEVER buy bottled enamels anymore.
  17. Looks great! Can't wait to get mine, got one on pre-order at the LHS.
  18. Got a '71 Cuda, 2009 Dodge Challenger and '62 Corvette gasser for Christmas.
  19. I saw the show where they found the wreck of the Bismark. She's pretty intact, considering. Sitting on the bottom of the ocean, right side up.
  20. An IMC Ford GT. Got it on Ebay for $3.99 plus shipping.
  21. Looks really good! My late uncle had one this color. His had been wrecked about '73 or '74. He bought it to rebuild and it just sat and rusted. He still ended up selling the carcass for about $10k to some guy in Ashland, KY.
  22. I think the TH400 was for big blocks. I ended up having one in my Skylark with a 350 because we had to replace the original TH350. The 400 was out of a big block car (junkyard parts).
  23. Finally replaced my Revell 57 Ford.
