  1. Kris is a member of the DMCC, and a GREAT person in general. I haven't seen his Mustang yet, as we have JUST been missing each other lately, but YES he has THE distributors an Accel coils and MSD Hi Cap discharge systems to get! They are BEAUTIFUL! I have QUITE a few of them and I won't use anything else. Plus, i consider Kris a freind, and THAT always helps too!
  2. GREAT job on this! The flames REALLY kick it!!!! Looks REALLY GOOD!!!
  3. Well, soundtrack not being my taste either, it was pretty interesting. Either a narration of what we were seeing, or no sound at all would have been a little less distracting. I enjoy seeing nicely built models, so it was cool to me. But that does pose a question, WHO IS Modelcarsmag guy??? Gregg???
  4. Interesting. One member mentions something about contacting Gregg about something. And it says the video was filmed by Jairus, so COULD it be from Gregg? I don't remember hearing an announcement, but then again, I am gettin old! :D
  5. Juergen AGAIN you've done it ,my freind! It came out GREAT! I KNOW your freind will be VERY happy with it!
  6. Brandon, you can go to Micheal's Craft stores, and get you a small jar of EMBOSSING powder, it's clear, you just paint some thinned Elmers glue on the floor, sprinkle the poweder over it, an BooF! you got carpeted floors! Just paint it the color you need an that's it. It'll also be more in scale to your model. The felt is just a tad too thick, I think, unless your running a shag carpet in your ride. Just some advice, NOT being critical. (Oh, if you use the coupon, it's REALLY cheep! like 2 bucks)
  7. I love it!!! I KNOW your Dad'll love it too!!! GREAT job!
  8. How VERY NICE already!!!! You gotta GREAT eye for flowing lines! This is gonna be SHARP. A NICE old school lookin custom, buildin it outta wats layin around and FITTING with the lines and final ideas of it. Man I LIKE this, your doin GREAT! :D
  9. Bruno, just a BEAUTIFUL build! It looks GREAT! it looks just as I remember them! Around here, there were ALOT of musclecars, and Chally's were among the sharpest! GREAT build of a GREAT car!!! You dun GOOD!!!!
  10. FoxMan, I got this kit JUST caz I LIKED the doors on it! NEVER checked to see IF it actually HAD an engine! Oh well, THAT'S never stopped me before! I'll find a nice Monogram Big OR smallblock Chevy to stuff in it! Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know it WAS a curbside!!!! THANKS!!!
  11. Adam, You MIGHT depending on your skills, WANT to go the 59 Eldo route. Just cut the rear fins shorter, and get the proper roof from the Modelhaus. You WILL play heck tryin ta find a minty nice body. So that idea from the Junkman MAY be a good plan B.
  12. Adam, IF you can find a MINT Jo Han Cadillac kit, your gonna REALLY pay, brother! The Modelhaus's quality is second to none, the man IS GOOD! you WON'T get a warped body from him.PERIOD. He's probably your best bet cause to be honest with ya, those Jo Hans ARE RARE AND expensive..
  13. Mike-O, ya need some a my Mojo???? you can, you know. have some..... jus sayin.....
  14. Modelhaus shows two 60 caddy's available in 25th scale. Hope this helps.
  15. Cool pic, I like it.
  16. As a kid growin up, there was a guy on the other side of the block from, me named Joe Gambino, who painted in that style, with the panels and shadowed edges. He painted for customizers like the Alexander Bros. and Chuck Miller. Your build is spot on for the early 60's! GREAT job!
  17. When you look REAL hard, the 2x4's in the background shelf unit are just TOO out of scale with the car. At least that was one of my reasons for goin with model. Harry's SHARP, so you gotta look at EVERYTHING, NOT just the car itself.
  18. OH YESSSS You SHOULD definately build another, and PLEASE show us HOW you did it.PLEASE! I have about 6 of these still in boxes( Squadron Shop sells them really cheap in their catalog!!!!) And I'd LOVE to try my hand at one, YOURS is tha MOOK!!! TOOO cool!!!!!!
  19. OH YEAH!!!! Canni getta AMEN!!!!!!!!
  20. VERY nice build, I have two of these. I built one in Banana Yellow, with a black vynil roof. The interior was done with a bench seat also. But getting the vertical pleats in the seat backs was a REAL trip! I used about a HUNNERT peices of Plastistruct 1/2 round tubeing to get it rightt. i never even LOOKED at the Duster kit to see if it woulda worked! I'll DEFINATELY check that out with the second one!!!! THANKS for the tip!!!!
  21. Del, Steve left the buisness about 15 years ago. The last time I spoke with him which was about 15 years ago, he said his parents weren't doing very well and he let the buisness go to help them out. He lefy Mich. and moved down south to be closer to them. It was a shame, because he had some EXCELLENT products. Hope he is doing well.
  22. Looks GREAT Felix! I like the way they put the cannon in their own little turret. Never seen one, but it sure LOOKS cool!!!!
