They probably just DIDN'T want to be there. I find it amazeing that anyone would be rude to someone asking a question about MODELS!!! ESPECIALLY if he's working the show!!!! At this years AutoRama, I was given permission to allow folks to come BEHIND the barrier, IF they asked to see a particular model. To ME, THAT was realy cool. That way IF a person showed interest in a particular model, he was allowed to see it up close. And who knows, maybe it'll be enough for HIM to bring one next year! :D

The REAL bite is they had JUST SOLD the home!!!! Wonder if the insurance company will pay wat the house was WORTH, or what they payed for it. The Annual percapita income of Bloomfield Hills is around 500,000 per year. Them folks is NOWHERE NEAR sufferin. AND the Lambo WAS his WIFES car. There 16 year old kid was trying to start it. ;)

Jim, they'd FIRE me after a few days caz I'D be orderin my Azz off!!! My wife worked at K-Mart when we were first married, in the TOY department, and she'd let me tell her what to order as far as the models were concerned! THAT was HEAVEN!!! She gave that job up to go back to school, but for those few years, I was ROLLIN in NEW AMT and MPC kits! ;)

This is NOT the engine compartment that comes with this kit. It looks like you modded the Dart or Duster kit's Engine compartment to fit. Did you mod the chassis to fit also? I used the Duster Engine compartment and Chassis on mine. ALOT of work, but worth it. Yours came out nice! Good job!

THAT'S wats REALLY grindin my gears, For SOOOOO long I waited ta get one CLOSE, the two we had were in TOLEDO and Canton! Finally we get one just about FIVE minutes away from me, and the lady who runs the model cars aisle DOESN'T know her patoot from her FOOT!!! Wish we could get someone who at least KNEW a little about the hobby! Yeeesh, Ours is as good as NOT havein one! WHAT a DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!

Our Hobby Lobby isn't even a year old yet, an they NEVER have stuff. They have those Testors die casts and some snap together kits, and MAYBE 3 or 4 new releases, but out of about 30 spaces for stock, only about a dozen are filled with OLD stuff, like AMT's 67 GTO, or military stuff. They have ALOT of paint stuff, like Iwata airbrushes and stuff or compressors, but NOT a whole lot of new or at least NEWER stuff.I asked the lady why there were so many empty spaces, an the ol broad said, "Christmas took ALOT of stock. CHRISTMAS????? Lady, THAT was 5 MONTHS ago!!! Needless to say, I VERY RARELY go there anymore! Is this JUST our HL of do they all seem to suffer from this "lack of stock' problem?

Olds NEVER made a 454. Whoever told you that was off by ONE cubic inch. Olds DID make a 455, but NEVER a 454. And Johan and AMT both made 66, 7, and 8 Toronados.

Don't understand the hostility Mike, it's just a personal opinion, and we ALL have that right. But do you REALLY think those cars LOOK COOL???? Wats the purpose of those pipes anyway? If they don't add to the performance of the vehicle, WHY add them? Just cause it's the rage? I've never put junk on my car just for LOOKS, if it doesn't serve a purpose, what are they there FOR? Just caz everybody else is doin it? Man those things are shame to do to an otherwise nice lookin car. But there is NO accounting for taste.

Yeah, you guys got it right, she DOES deserve ALL the credit, caz most of the time SHE'S the one who keeps her head, DOESN'T make the DUMB decisions(THAT'S MY job!!!)an generally keeps us flyin straight and level! THANKS so much, Guys!!! But in all honesty, SHE'S the one who deserves ALL the credit! We married when I was 18 an she was 20. (I turned 19 a week later) She was there waiting for be when I got back from that poophole called V.N. She gave me a BEAUTIFUL Daughter, and has been puttin up with me AND my models since day one! Anything commin from Japan right now has gone up.They say it'll stay that way for a while, till their economy gets back to normal. But I doubt it'll go back down again, cause once they start gettin MORE money for their stuff, they WON'T give it up. Just the law of supply an demand.They can DEMAND as MUCH as they want, because THEY supply it!!!

If you guys who like this can sit tight for awhile, I sent Alan Raab, over at Ma's resin a mint unbuilt kit of this car, and he may be casting it soon. AND it'll be ALOT cheaper than what I paid for it!!!! AND just as NICE!!!!!!

Well, THAT IS news to me, Darin! Yeesh, I did not know that! But I sure can vouch for his handi work!! He's GOOD, and if guys with TWO good arms could cast as well as him, we'd have TONS of GREAT resin kits!!!!

I'd have to agree that Bandit Resins AND Porkies are BOTH top notch casters! I got Eric's(Porkies) 64 Cutlass and 64 Falcon, and BOTH are PERFECTLY cast! Kenny, overt Bandit Resins TAUGHT Eric! Kenny's 70 GTX body is dead on to JoHans body from which it was cast! BOTH of these guys are RIGHT UP THERE with the Modelhaus or RMoM kits! You can order from either one and be SURE you'll get a QUALITY casting!!!

I agree, I've NEVER seen that car before. It's simply BEAUTIFUL! Where did you get it? Is it still in production? THAT would be VERY worth haveing, i LIKE it!!!
