What on earth IS this?
george 53 replied to Jon Cole's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Don, Didn't Hurst make an automatic shifter with 3 shifters? I think it was called "Lightning Rods" or some such thing. I do remember them in the last 442's built. -

I remember readin in Hot Rod, back in the day, where some nut ACTUALLY drove one in his STREET car!!! Of course it was all Pro'd out kinda Rick Dobbertin style, but it showd a pic of him DRIVEIN it to the strip, racein, an comein home! -
Guys, I got mine last week, and they're PERFECT!!! NO flaws whatsoever! These things look GREAT! I got both the Street size, an the Pro Stock size too. BOTH sets were OUTSTANDING!!! VERY good product for the price, DEFINATELY worth it!!!!

Yeah, that's a good question. But you know the old saying, "If you can't say something......" Well, i DON'T see any sense in publicly negatively criticing ANYONES work, Lord knows I wasn't perfect when I started! Not all that great now! But if someone DOES do a nice job, like those models shown by our new member Cesar, Oh heck yeah, I'll give him credit, cause it's DUE! Those are NICE builds. I like them and I'm more than happy to let him know! He's earned it!

ALWAYS thought the 69 Charger was the MOST beautiful design of ALL the late 60's cars, BAR NONE! It looked like it was goin a 1,000 miles an hour just PARKED! I had one, the PRETTIEST car I EVER owned! I still have two original unbuilt MPC kits downstairs, an let me tell you, they CAN'T hold a candle to Revell's version! The Technology has come SO far that it's not really fair to compare them, except for their scale fidelity. I was REAL dissapointed with the ORIGINAL Dukes release because of the Daytona rear window. So I just modded it into the proper shape. But I made ANOTHER one into a Charger 500 before there was ever a kit of it. Couldn't do too much with it as it came, so might as well convert it into something that it COULD be used for! Won't bother with this one, as i just get the Revell kits of the 68/9 Chargers anymore. Still like that style, always will.

OOOOO, That sounds SOOOO GOOOOD!!! Yeah, you can bet I'll get at least two, one to convert into a Grand Am, and one to do the LAST GTO! To ME the Can-Am SHOULD have been a GTO. -

AND it came in PERFECT condition, for the 2nd month in a row!!! who knows, now that I'm gettin it in undamaged condition, I don't really care anymore if it's late, at least I'm STILL getting it and it's readable, no repairs nessecary, so heck, I'm happy!!! -
