  3. Moanin Mike, And Moanin ta you too Harry! I trust you slept well? Well for Number 100 ya sure did rile the troops,Eh? I still think it's real, probly wrong, caz it's time, but it's just a GAME so who cares. I KNOW it's gotta be a REAL bite commin up with stuff EVERY week, then havein folks try ta pick it apart. But I gotta tell ya Bro, THIS ONE feature probly brings more guys into the fold than any other thread on this site, IMHO! You already know how I feel about RoM, so I DO appericiate your efforts, and I hope ya keep cranckin 'em out! I'll keep guess on 'em!!!

I thought the hinges on the garage were beautiful, But THIS just takes th cake guy! I waz gonna say somethin dumb like"Try fillin the hole in the Trans-Am hood". BUT NOOOOOOOO! YOU hadta jus go an MAKE YOUR OWN HOOD!!!!! OUT OF METAL, no less!!!!! Oh well, just ONE MORE goal for me to try an reach, since I started out here! Your hood is TRULY a work of art, Bill, Just beautiful!
  7. Guy's, I think he was askin about paint removal of RESIN bodies. CSC will NOT remove the Revell painted 63 Chevy Lo-Rider. I soaked mine for 1 whole month! Finally got it semi-soft enough to scrape it off woth my thumbnail! WON'T waste my time on it,PLUS it WILL eat your skin. Simple Green has worked well for me in the past, as has Easy-Off. BUT which ones are safe to use on RESIN? I have a 71 Swinger body that I'd like to strip. SORRY, jus went back an RE-READ Milts question, BUT I'd STILL like ta know whats safe for resin, Anybody got some advice??????

  10. Harry, thisns a GOOD one! It's either a REAL car or a heckava Pocher Model kit! BUT, Im gonna go with .....REAL! It's REALLY a CLOSE call! OOOOH thisns GOOD!!!!
  11. Moanin Mike, an Bri, just reachin 100 is a milestone bro, don't push it! Who knows how much longer we can browbeat Ol Harry into doin this! Ya know, it's REALLY a few MORE than a hunnert, caz I remember once or twice folks just blurtin out the answer, an Harry had to call it quits for that pic. BUUUUTTTT, If the Ol man WANTS ta keep goin, I'll keep followin along, Cause without RoM I got NO purpose in LIFE!!!! My wife don't need me, my baby is all growed up with a baby of her own,an a son on the way(Sept 17), I get along GREAT with my son-in-law,AND my Big Brudder, But my EVIL, MUCH OLDER SISTERS probly wount miss me atall. HEY, my MOM would (miss me that is) an I woulnt hurt her, so I GUESS I'd have a kinda life. But it'd be ALOT more fun with RoM to look forward to, Soooo, HEY HARRY, wat it gon be like Homie???? HIT ME Brotha, RoM? HIT ME!!!!!!! Oh, an I hope you slept well!
  12. Well at least ya din't hafta lose yer nuts ta get 'im back! Hopefully, if ya jus don't put 'im inna PINK DRAWER he'll stay calm. Ya know dam well YOU wouldn't wear no PINK DRAW"S!!!!! He IS a MANLY skwerrl after all, dontcha know!!!
  13. Dave, this ride is SOOOO Cool, ANY pics of it are alright with me! You REALLY did a GREAT job on it, an It is /was VERY worthy of an article in our FAVORITE mag! Besides, with so many people to see it, I KNOW it has to be an insperation to some folks!!!! GREAT BUILD an Article!!!
  14. John My Bro, HE'S a SKWERRIL! Jus hang some NUTS out an He'll find 'em!!!! Oh this is JUS TOO MUCH!!!!! Here, skwerrily, skwerrliy,!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!
  15. Yeah, BUT there's only ONE Kahuna though, an that's GREGG!!!!!!!!!( Faygo Pop makes a OHANA punch, an they say OHANA means family in Hawaiian! So it MUST be true!!!)
  16. This kit as almost as old as me, an just as ricketty. It comes with separate sides, doors, roof panels, much like the original 56 Chrysler New Yorker by Revell, that was my FIRST model. It's a multi peice model that builds like a mult-peice model! those ol farts among us, who built the first MP bodied kits have fond memories of these! Just REALLY glad we DON'T have ta build 'em anymore.(That is UNLESS ya WANT to!) Turns out that when Revell re-issued that New Yorker kit, I went an got one, an to my surprise, I STILL couldn't build it nicely! Oh well, it's nice to know SOME things don't change!
  17. Greg, you KNOW whats comin next dontcha? Folkes is gonne 'spect that bad boy ta start up! Freak em all out by puttin a lil 'lectric motor INSIDE the engine! When ya hit the start button, the engine starts turnin over! Hey, that way you can wire the lights an all that other stuff. You could even have the interior lights go on when you open the doors! Ok, so I got a little crazy on ya, but to be honest with ya Bro, I think you could pull it off! Your doin a killer job so far Mate, I hope to see some more updates pretty soon! Cheers!!!!!
  18. James, my freind,AND forum brother, Methinks you got TOOO much time on your hands! I mean, it IS your phone, an you CAN do as you dam well please with it, but WHY? Wouldn't it made a lot more sense to apply that technic to a model? Don't get me wrong, it came out like it's all rusted up, but again,WHY? If you wanna start a "Rusted Phone" trend your sure right on the money! Personally I think FLAMES woulda looked KILLER! Then you coulda had a REAL LIVE Hot Line!!!
  19. Don,sure nuff, there they are! Now it REALLY looks like the REAL deal! Wait till you finish your next build, give it to Harry to use on RoM, THEN put it up for us to admire! If it's ANYTHING like this one, It'll be a KILLER!!
  20. Ernie, the armrest DOES look ok that way. If it really bothers you, couldn't you just cut the flat portion off the handle, and just switch sides? If you reattach it to your handle just flip it so it's on right. Just a thought, but maybe it'll help.
  21. Nice lookin Cuda,Daddy-O. Is that a resin kit, or the original MPC kit? I don't remember those types of engine compartment fender walls in the original kit. They look nice, like bead rolled aluminum! It came out real nice, Good job!
  22. Hey Greg, waz up? Glad you took the time ta post, good ta see ya back atter agin! That blue is REALLY a nice color,Is the body gonna be that color? Din't we talk once where ya tol me Blue was your favorite color? Sure looks good UNDER the car, I'd probly look pretty good up top too!!! Any colors gonna look good on this bad boy when it's done! After seein all that's in it, folks probly won't even notice wat color it is!!! Lookin GOOD mate, Get R Dun!!!!!
  23. Randy dun took da woids out my mouf,Krap'n! That's watcha call deddy-Kayshun!!!! Butcha know, if yad jus calleded me, I'da sencha a few nuts 'n bolts, Lord knows I dun lost enuffa them ta spare a few! Hope yer feelin better! I'll be callin ya ta sees hows yas doin!
  24. Eelco, since your gonna hafta build yer room, the sky's the limit!(AND your wallet!). I don't know where you live, but in the Northern climes, make SURE it's insulated, or has GOOD heat reception. My room is downstairs too, an it gets down to 68 degrees in there when it's really cold outside. My spray booth is vented thru a Charcoal filter,an it does a GREAT job of killin fumes.I DO need ta set up a space heater when it winter, caz it's too cold to paint at 68. Jus think of how you'd like it,imagine your own little world/paradise, an GO FER IT!!!! Oh, an make sure you can install a DOOR at some time, caz your GONNA need one!(with a lock!)
  25. Mornin Mike-O, Heck Mike, Harry won't be up for a nother coupla hours, so we can jus act stupid till he does! I said real, caz we used to build the chassis/cabs for ALL the Presidential Limos at my plant! In fact, my good freind,Troy Dodd, used to build 'em! Thay come with re-inforced welds, extra floor braceing, an some not so "Factory" extras to make the conversions easier. They're sent to a factory on the East coast to be converted. The same factory makes Hearses too. Those wheels ARE alloy rims on run flat tires. When they left us, they had no rear doors or trunk lids as they were schueduled for Hearse modification. The Prez's limo's left on a special truck, and were a little heavier built. The reason it may not look like a regular Cadillac is because it's NOT a regular Cadillac! But when they would come back for a visit,YES, even the President's Limo, gets homesick, they'd pull it into the reveiw area,an all the employees would get a chance to see it. Never saw the Prez, but we got to see his ride, all finished up an ready to go. One of the nicer things about woikin at Poletown! BUT, To get down to buisness, WHA'S UP, Harry? Time ta rise an shine,Handsome! Let's get the show onna road!RoM Brutha? Hit Me Harry, HIT ME!!!!!!( Oh yeah, I hope you slept well.)
