Fella's, I changed over from Comcast today,to WOW, And now, when i try to use any option on the forum, I hafta wait AT LEAST 15/25 sec. before anything happens. This morning before I got it changed over, it was maybe 5 sec.at the most!.Now, I get on the forum, go to a topic, click on that topic, an BANG! now the INTERNET tells me it CAN'T find the page!Or somethin stupid like "Oooops This page MAY be broken", One of the guys mentioned a firewall? or something,when I couldn't get on the Drag City website. Could it be something like that? I have NO idea of what I'm doin, an a little help would REALLY be appericiated!

Well I just got my issue,an I liked it! But then again, I always like it! Ol'Treehugger hisself got a article about his Vette! I Don't know jack about editorial content,deadlines,publishing costs or nuthin like that, but I like the mag. I know I wouldn't even TRY to publish one. But then again, when I think, WELL, I'VE MET GREGG! an Harry hasn't,(an what, he's like WAY up the ladder) maybe it can't be ALL THAT hard! Anyways, seein the Resin Reveiws expanded,an readin about Greggs adventures an hardships, all in the effort to harass Harry,an get us the Mag,and seein Dave's Vette article, I REALLY DO feel like it's my magazine! I mean it's OUR mag, but it feels MORE personal to me than SA could EVER be! I REALLY ENJOYED SAE when Gary owned it,then when the Mega-Buck pub.co. bought it, I watched them kill off Car Modeler, then cut Sa back to 6 issues a year, and raise the subscription price. I was one of the ORIGINAL subscribers to Fine Scale Modeler, cas I DIDN'T know SAE was in publication! When Kalmback bought SAE I KNEW it was gonna go downhill. They don't need to compete with themselves! Thanks Guys, for ANOTHER great issue(see, I'm not hard ta please!)

Well, Ed's right about Micro-Mark. They gotta LOTTA stuff. Some kinda pricey, but they'd pert near be GAURONTEEED to carry EVERYTHING you'd need,maybe even a starter tool kit,like your talkin about! Check "em out!

Well it's Wednsday mornin, 9:05, I get me mail(usually, if Kenny's on the job)by 11:00. so hopefully I'll get it today.But I will let ya'll know HOW, or what kinda condition it's in when it does! Maybe we can kinda see WHO gets the torn up mags,an by hit or miss, we can narrow it down to a few or single mail depots. I'm in the Metro Detroit area, an I ALWAYS get mine torn up. I just tape'em back together with CLEAR shipping tape, THAT stuff is GREAT! Too bad they can't be printed on that stuff! But, Ill letcha's know how it got here.

Scott, when it comes to doin ANYTHING on this thing, other then type,an hit reply, I am at the mercy of Joy, my beloved daughter. IF she's got the time to show me, I MIGHT be able ta pick it up. But I'm really a hands on type a guy, and I need ta be walked thru it a COUPLA times before I get it, an she ain't got the patience with the Ol Dad. She's done this stuff since pre-school, I was in my early 40's before I even had ta use one at work. So I'll ask her if I can get Mozilla Firefox, even if I don't know what it is, cas SHE will. Who knows, I MAY get to Ed's site eventually!

Good Luck tryin ta find THEM rascals,Monty. I had those same wheels on my 75 Monte SS 454. Did you know that was just a RUBBER molding vulcanized to a steel wheel? Yep, sure was. You could actually hit it with a sledge hammer,an not hurt it!

I haven't seen a pic, but it SOUNDS like your describing MPC's Zingers series. In 71, they "Zinger'ed" all their kits out by addin a bunch of junk like you described, out of proportion scoops,an spoilers an the like. Thank God they only did it that one year! They also had a bunch of shrunk down cars, with standard size engines an showed em at the Car Shows, also known as Zingers.

Well Harry the only other scale(or at least the MAJORITY) I build in is 1/48th. Usually WWII an Viet-Nam era aircraft. I have a few 1/72nd scale aircraft, but they're bombers.
