CBS, If it's BMF it shouldn't take the paint off if you strip it. The way it is now, it looks like those stick on mylar peices that the "wanna be's" around here use to cover the rust holes in the fenders an doors! If your buildin a pimpmobile, it looks quite the norm(for Deeetroit!)

Dave, check out Steve Kohler, over at Star models, I'm sure he has one and the prices are reasonable. Plus he's just a great guy to deal with! Give him a shot, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

They LOOK like Webber Side Draft Carbs, The kind of intake manifold that they ran on the Corvette SS models at Sebring back inthe 60's. I'm sure the guys'll know for sure!

Duke's try RMR resins. He makes all kindsa truck cabs, from the 40's to the early 60's. I have him in my favorites, so I don't know his exact web addy, but I KNOW one of the guys has it,and hopefully someone'll post it for you. How 'bout it fellas?

Great pix Tim! yep, the ONLY way to get clear pics is to be there EARLY!!! By 10:30 the crowd starts to get SO big that you can't get any good pics caz of the crowd! Our club sponsors the model car show,and we were asked at last months meeting who wanted to work the show. That woulda been the best time to take pics, BEFORE anyone got there! Saw the pics, an it was nice(to me, I HATE crowds)to feel like I went! Again, Thanks for the GREAT pix!

KB, Looks GOOD! I remember a LTD like that, that used ta run around here. It ran a 429 Auto, and had a VERY similar paint job, the hood and trunk all blacked out like that, but his grille was chromed,with the center trim on the grille was body color. It was a Hi Impact Yellow with Matte Black accents. I always thought it was a factory hot rod, ala Merc S-55! Is yours? or did you make it up? Either way, she's LOOOOKEEEN GOOOOD! (Love your avitar!!!)

WoW! We've lost another Brother Builder? Geeze, Accidentally, or naturally, we've been goin thru some sad times here. It may be old news, but my condolences to his family also. The grim reality is that we should all enjoy our freinds, family,and loved ones as best we can, caz we never know when it'll be time to go "Home".
