  1. Mike, why dontcha just move the B-pillar from the wagon, back to where it is on the Camino, and then just re-scribe the back of the door line to match up to the new B-pillar location. It'd be ALOT easier than trying to mount the wagon roof on the camino's body.Oh, and remember to fill in the back door seam lines! Good luck, it'll be a cool project!
  2. Dale, that is just too cool! The thought that went into it sure shows! It's just flat out beautiful! Yes, it WOULD look GREAT ta see a bunch of these ol bruisers fightin it out onna road course! Has Nick F40 seen this? He'll REALLY LIKE IT! It's his favorite color,Don'tcha know! Again, GREAT BUILD!!!!!
  3. OK NOW ya gone an dun it! You don't build those beautifully magnificent works of automobilia with JUST glue an paint????? Yeeesh, hows a po ol chicano boy from southwest Deeeetroit gonna compete wit dat? Oh well, I guess I won't, I'll just keep usein my X-acto knives an little files, an have my own kinda fun, the kind I'm sure YOU'LL understand! ( Ain't these lil cars a BLAST??? )
  4. Looks like you fit right back in, to me. To attempt to build your own IFS is not a newbie type of trick! Looks like yer doin alright too! Just keep at it an it'll all come back, jus like ridin a bike ,or............ Lookin good, keep it up, an please, keep postin wip pics!
  5. I like the color, you gonna try to mold that big ol Studeybakie hood lump on to that hood? It looks to be a killer when it's thru!
  6. OOO Dan, that means I should be getting mine some time this year too! Don't spill the beans, I wanna just WAIT in anticipation! Hopefully it'll be as good as usual, which it ALWAYS is! It's worth the wait in my humble opinion.
  7. In my 2years of beein here, this is the FIRST time I have ever been on this thread. Nascar has absolutley NO interest to me! But this was funny! I enjoyed a laugh! I'll be lookin for this series for real!
  8. Brian, if you REALLY need to use a aluminum, try the little squares (about 5x5) used for flashing on roofs. It's small enough to work with, it's a lot easier to get smooth and flat, an it's CHEEP!!! about 6 cents a square. ANY good roofing supply stoer will have them, and if you tell them why you need it, they MIGHT even give you a few peices. Jair is right, to use pop cans, you have to anneal the metal by heating it up to the point where it starts to unroll and lay flat. TOO much work! the flashing idea works MUCH better! Just wipe the primer off them with some thinner, and they'll even come out real nice and shiney, just like aluminum! Hope you can use this.
  9. WoW.....just WoW!
  10. Ok I guess it's an inside joke, but these cars are genius! And they're beautiful! WHY do you call them Pigs? The detail is fantastic, and you should be proud of your "Lil Piggies"

  12. Oh heck yes!, I gotta bunch of diecast! Danbury Mint is my fav, but I have some Franklin Mints too. I tend to buy only the cars that REALLY appeal to me,cause they are kinda pricey, But they look SOOOOO NICE! I WISH I could build that neatly! Yeah, as long as it's 24/25th scale, I'll go for it, if I can't get it in plastic or resin. I started some 1/18th cars but they take up TOO much space!
  13. Yeah Sam, he passed last year, it was in one of these "Electrmags" I get. They ran a real nice story on him. I just got my Hot Rod too an saw the article your refering to. We ain't gettin any younger,Bro. RIP"BIG"Deal.
  14. "It's always somethin, if it's not this, it's that, Ya know wad I mean?" You know, if you had PICKED UP the dirt, you NEVER woulda dropped it, Don'tcha? I guess Mr. Murphy's at it again! Not ta worry tho, Caz I does belives that you can straighten things out!
  15. Clay, that's the AMT Car Hauler Trailer, and thats EASY to assemble compared to the one from Revell O.G. THAT bad boy's got about a 1000 peices! Try paintin THAT sucker! It's a more modern type of trailer with ALL the uprights an cross beams,an such. LOOKS GREAT, but man, it was a trip tp assemble. I recently traded a forum brother for another one, and I think this'n 'll go a might easier! At least I'm hopin so!

I always like what you dream up, too bad the automakers didn't have you on one of their design teams. Either way, the Vettes lookin good, Now don't it need some color?
