Is it just ME, Virge, or does it look kinda like the old Car Craft Magazine "Dream Rod"? If ya cover the rear bed area an add a lil more sheetmetal to the front end, you'd have you a "Dream Rat Rod"! Just keep pluggin away, caz it looks like yer havin FUN!!! -
Jurg, ya gone an dun it kiddo! Ain't I tell ya she was gonna be BEEEEUttyful????? IF it was a real girl(stead of a model)I'd be "see ya round baby", an I'd be gone with her! That is THE PRETTIEST Design Chrysler ever came out with! Nothing could beat the style of those 69 B-Bodys!They looked FAST just standing still! You did Mother MoPar proud with this one,Jurg, A BEAUTIFULLY GREAT build!

Nice CLEAN build! The interior detailing paid off, looks great. I remember when those bad boys rolled for the money! Gee, it'sa good thing kids don't street race anymore!(yeah, right!)

What's wrong with it? I like it. Looks 50's ta me! The wheel wells came out rather nice, adds a balance. I like the wires.
-
WOW! That's downright beeeuteful!!! What a NICE color, almost seems to GO with the car! What scale is it? I assume it's a curbside? Whatever it is, it is BEAUTIFUL!

Another idiot eBay buyer

Yeah, I've paid too much for stuff on the bay, but, when it comes to resin stuff, unless it's not a mainstream kinda thing, since there ARE so many good resin casters out there now, if I can get it cheaper WITH postage, I'll go for it. If not, I'll just go with a favorite resin caster, who I'll know already carries what I need. -
06 Charger Chrysler should have made

Yeah, An I'll be postin pics before then too! Give it a shot Daddy-O, just ta shut me up! Semper Fi! -
From the overhead pics of the conver, coupe, and the "New"one, The length difference looks to come in at the "Cab"area. There seems to be added length between the "A" Pillars, and the "C"Pillars The area between the leading edge of the front doors, to the distance to where the roof meets the rear quarter panel. From the side veiw, it looks like the door MAY be a tad too long, and the curve from the rear quarter glass too the rear edge of the door may also be too long. But that's just me. I'll get one an just FIX it, like I did with the Nova!

AMAZING TALENT ON THIS FORUM
george 53 replied to E St. Kruiser50's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Dave, don't sell yourself short, ol' Bud! YOU are one of the best here! If your too shy, I'm NOT! Guy's like you and Mr.BIGGS are like heroes to me. When it comes to OVER the Top stuff, you'all are right in it! I've had the pleasure of meeting Antonio, and he's like THERE! No ego, no showeyness, just like we'd been Bud's for YEARS!You and I have spoken, and to me, you guys are just alike! I'm NOT tryin to sound like a one-man fan club, But to me, you guys, and a few others I can't name ,right off the bat, have got IT! You have that ability to transform a THOUGHT into a 3-D object! I know it's not rocket science, if it was I couldn't do it! But the way you go about it is amazing to me! That's WHY I enjoy the WIP pics. It's almost like building it! (WITHOUT the headaches!) For what and how you guys build, to ME you are the BEST! I like the thought that goes into your work. You can see how you figuered out something, and then proceeded to build it out.Believe it or not, I ACTUALLY DO learn from those pics. Tonio's the same way, only I just had ta ask, an he told me everything about 300 I wanted to know! He let me take pics while he set it up, opened the doors so I could get interior shots,It was great! You guys inspire me. I've never had a good, wild imagination, when it came to customs, that's why I build mostly street/strip stock and the occasional hot rod,as I remember them. Guy's like Raul and the other fellow, I told you I wasn't real good at names, but when I describe his bad arsed Ford F-??? with the Quad cab, reversed doors, slammed, fully detailed interior, including the dash, door panels, the worlks, maybe that'll help. Or Rad Rides by Dave? Just REALLY CLEAN ,Smooth builds! They have the same Gotcha factor as yours an Biggs, but in a DIFFERENT way. Ya know what I mean? Who'da thunk such a large, warm fellow-ship could've resulted from some small little cars? That's why I joined the Drmcc. The guys are my age, and other than that, we ALL have model cars in common! It's like I finally found a place that I belong. I've worked on my cars alone, by myself, for SO LONG, it was normal for me.But now, once a month, I get to hang out with 40 guys who think like I do!!! It's a BLAST! I really do look forward to our club meetings! They're inspiring too, to look at a car you've seen in the Magazine, then the owner let's you PICK IT UP! to get a better look at it! Thanks Mike! But it all seems normal now. And I find myself looking forward to talking with my freinds here, and on my other forum. I'm here everyday, I know I gotta get a life, but I'm happy so far, In good health,(thank God!) And in the company of some of the BEST modelers in the WORLD! We're so BAD here, we got guys from overseas buildin the best of some of the best street rides I've ever seen! Thanks Stump, Ewi,Juerg! And I'm willing to bet,YOU guys inspire THEM TOO! Every one that posts gives a little of themselves when they do, but I think it's done in total honesty. With a real desire to hear fair critics and critisism, plus helpful advice. This forum allows us that.We can hob-nob with the best, and ask questions without sounding stupid! It's a comfortable place to hang out at, and everyone helps to make it that way! -
Wow! That's nice! Looks just like the type they used in the last year of Adam-12.I mean, other than the color.Duh....
-
Bob, who/what is the dpmcc forum? Not important, just hopein he was OK, as we hadn't heard from him,or seen any of his posts lately. Thanks!

I need this like I need another hole in my head!

Funny as it sounded, it LOOKS pretty neat! The roof even seems to flow nicely into the trunk area of the 60! Lookin REAL good! Keep it up! -
