  3. Harry, this'ns REAL daddy-O 100%
  4. Jeff, I LOVE me some RIBS!!!! I'll come an bring my lil Falcon AND Torino I got at MCCC Toy show! I'll even bring my 65 Chrysler 300, if your ready for it.
  5. ART, How'd you get that kinda detail inna model? You must be the BEST builder I've EVER seen! Even the spray booth looks real! Yes, the hard work DOES show up in the paint! Looks GREAT, can't wait to see it done! It'll take GSL by storm!!
  6. HARRY, HARRY ,HARRY!!!!! WHY didja hafta go THERE!!! OH my achein head! The TIGERS? Are they STILL alive? I LIVE here and won't go to one of their games! They're just as sorry as those alleycats that are having an identity problem, thinkin they're LIONS!!!! The only Lions I wanna remember fondly are the ones from the OLD drag strip in Sunny ol Californication! But NOW time to get serious, so, where's our new RoM? (I'm controlin my shakes, but I don't know how much longer I can stay sane!)The TIGERs The LIONS, OH MY!!!
  7. Well It wasn't a WASTED game, the Steelers won, an cars are made outta steel, so I guess it's all good! Thanks for all the support guys! I promise NEVER to go to New Jersey (wha happened to OLD Jersey) unless it's for a model car show, and Yes, Lyle I'll accept the fact that we can all be wrong in our opinions, And I'll forgive you for being wrong! caz I LIKE you! And your KILLER models!
  8. James, when I was growin up, My cousins used to build "Dune Buggy's" out of ol 48 Chevy's. They looked JUST like that, and would run them on the dunes,at Sleeping Bear state park, on the West Coast of Michigan. They were just chassis with roll bars welded on em, but MAN were they FUN! Now we're a little too old to get nuts like that(or too smart) but those memories! Your lil Buggy looks RIGHT ON to me! Thanks for sharing it!!!!!GREAT JOB!!!
  9. GREAT Harry, I'm with you on this, and THANKS for the pic of a REAL american male!
  10. I ALWAYS liked the 3 tone interior colors of those early 60's ponchos. Yours came out AWESOME! You got it down like downtown! It looks GREAT! You done good, bringin this model back, the whole thing looks GREAT!!!!
  11. Ok OK, don't get upset Harry, I thought that would wake you up! I STILL don't like him, he IS OVERRATED But for you, caz I value our freindship, I'll lay off the NO TALENT Wanna be singer, and keep my opinions to myself! Now DON"T hold it against me, I appoligized, And lets wait till tomorrow when some REAL talent posts a new RoM!!! I'm gettin all gigiddy, giggidy just thinkin about it!
  12. Harry, Bruce is just ol an nowhere anymore, he writes a good song, but he can't sing(never could) an he couldn't carry a note inna dumptruck!!! I consider myself a normal american male, an I wouldn't waste my time watchin a bunch of overpaid gorillas do nuthin to make more money in 1 year than we'll both make in a lifetime! One GREAT thing about it, it's 8:00 here and we just took my Granddaughter home, and the roads are EMPTY! At least it's keepin the drunks at home or in the bars,so the streets are safe until it's over! To me, thats the ONLY good thing about it! I don't get into football,(or springstunk)never did, personally, I like Drag racing, and REAL road course racing. That's my take on all this waste of time called, you had it right, The STUPOR Bowl!
  13. Ed, one of my foremen had that exact same car.His was painted White Diamond, but yours is the exact color too! He had a Camel intirior withe the light sand conv.roof. He ran some thin double white walls with wire wheels. It looked kinda pimped out, but it was SHARP lookin, just the same. He still has that bad boy too, in GREAT shape!
  14. Mark, if G.M. had the foresite to let Olds do something like that, maybe Olds would still be around! Too Bad for them. I like your Oldscamino, looks good to me!
  15. Well at least I know you last name now Rick! Was it you who needed the shoulder scoops from the 70 Shelby Mustang? I remember SOMEONE at the last meeting needed them and I offered to bring em to the next meeting. I'll have em there.
  16. See how nice that body looks with a top chop? The cab roof is just TOO tall even in stock form. Makes for an UGLY truck. I HAD to chop mine, or I'da never built it! But, that's just my opinion. That was NOT one of G.M's better lookin trucks! Wonder who even picked it, or WHY, to make a model of it???
  17. Custum, could you drill a hole on the back of them, then using thin copper wire, make an "L" shaped hanger, that'll slip into the hole in the back of the tube, and the shorter leg of the wire can fit into a hole drilled into the bottom of the framerails. The original header tubes were mounted in a similar way to the real vehicals, only they were more like 2 in wide straps that mounted to the frame rails, by welding or useing self tapping bolts.Hope this helps somehow.
  18. AMEN!!!!!! ....(but I was gettin sweaty hands fer a minit there!)
  19. Dave I know they'll be EXPENSIVE, but my buddies got a self contained WATER COOLED computer. I don't know where he got it, but he says it's one of the best. Must be expensive caz I NEVER heard of one! Just a thought. Hope you get yours up soon, caz I may start Jonesin If you can't post pics anymore!
  20. Ya know Jurg, your gettin ta be one of my favorite modelers kiddo! Right up there with TreeHugger Dave, Mr.BIGGS, Raul Perez,Capt'n Blaque, GrampsX, and a few others. Your in EXCELLENT company Brother,Keep up the great work, Cause that Charger will be hard to beat! I gotta tell ya Buddy, I'm FLAT OUT LOVIN this build!!!!!
  21. 87, one of my high school buddy's had a new 70 510 4dr. just like yours only without the decals. We laughed when he first got it caz it was only a 4 cyl. and Jap. We all had American V-8's, But, that lil Dat waz quick off the line, an could get a good hole shot on ya! REAL NICE job on your Dat! It's cool!
  22. Lookin Good Jurg! Hey Guys, aint he about a great painter? You know, He's only been back to building for a little while. We've been corresponding, and He's told me alot about himself. He really is a cool guy and He's got the look down perfectly, dontch think? Great job Jurg, An I know it'll be KILLER when it's done!
  23. I haven't gotten my issue#137 yet, but I know I'm gonna like it! This just stokes the fire! What goin on? I don't care what Gregg, Harry an crew put in it, I'll read about it! I can't get enough of the Mag, on time or NOT!, And I HOPE it DOES go to 12 issues a year, I'd be in Model Car Heaven!!!!
  24. Billy, Billy, Billy, I do believe that Lyle MAY have a point there, ol Buddy! I also know how much you love your NASCAR models. But hey kiddo, you may just need a change of venue.Your building talents are FAR to good to just let them go idle. Try somethin else, just for a change. Maybe a RatRod or sometnin totally out of your normal routine.Anyone who loves building as much as you,and builds as WELL as you do,just can't stop. You'll hurt yourself if you do! Just try to stop breathin, you'll see what I mean, you CAN'T! Hang in there bro, an try somethin different for a change. Try it, You'll like it!
  25. Yes. Turns out the aluminium was too porous, and cracked/broke very easily. They were only in production for about 4 months before they were recalled. At least thats what I was led to believe.
