  6. HOLY SHAMOLE! Is that thing COOL or WHAT? Ok, maybe if we all pitch in together, we can community buy it, and ALL our forum members can use it!(OK, but it WAS an interesting idea) I wonder if this will have any type of impact on the model car world? I WANT ONE!!! (No more ridiculous E-Bay prices for oop kits!)
  7. Dave, NONE of those resin casters are still in buisness.Sorry. Your best bet is to try the casters that Aaron mentioned. Ive delt with STS models,RMR Resins(he makes a GREAT excavator kit), and Kitform, and can vouche for their products, ALL very clean bubble free resin products. Hope this helps, Good Luck!

  11. Bryan, Rick, the owner of "Scale Dreams", is one of our club members and he had that exact same grille conversion at our last meeting for 20 bucks. Try his website, www.scaledreams.com I'm sure he had a couple and only one was sold when I left, so I now he's got a couple more. Try him out, he's a real nice/cool guy!
  12. Lil Darts loookeeeen Gooood, Shane. Did you have to mod the front wheel wells? It looks like ya did some work on 'em. So far Daddy-O, shes comin out GREAT! ( as usual).
  13. Pete, no offense meant, But you should visit us MORE OFTEN, you've been a member here for well over a year, and we do this EVERY WEEK! Harry goes thru alot to do this and we've all pretty much gotten used to how it goes. Yes , your right, the rules should be posted occasoinally, and they are, but a few guys like yourself do sometimes miss them. But the way to play, is just wait till Friday, and see If your right(or wrong.) Please DON'T take offense, PLEASE! I'm only tellin you so's it doesn't happen again, and spoil it for the rest of the guys. Hope you still play, and start hangin out more with us!
  14. You can see in the Pics of the old/new LC that the roof looks alot thicker on the rebuilt one. And Sam, that's REALLY cool the way Big Daddy signed your mag!!! That's a family heirloom now!TOO COOL!
  15. That ain't cheep Jeff, That's jus bein frugal!
  16. Oh man, that lil chort is lookin good, even if your not thru with the paint! I had a feelin I was gonna like this bad boy, It remindes me of when I wasa kid,the guy who lived across the road from my Grandmother used to build REAL stuff like that, and go out on the sandunes with it! He was nuts! I REALLY liked him
  17. Mike, you GOT to chop the roof on that bad boy! I did on mine, about a 3 in chop, and it'll make ALL the difference on how it looks. Try it, it 's really not to hard to do, and it makes a world of difference. Your lil ride is gonna look good when she's thru!
  18. Which is as close as he ever got to da buildin! Yeah, Ed's OK in my book too!
  19. You'll get used to that brite a pink color after you've seen about 20 of them rascals comin down the line! EVERY YEAR that I worked at Cadillacs, we'd run that years Caddy's in a group paint of "Mary Kaye" pink. She would give her top sellers of the year a NEW Pink Caddy. It came around the 1st of the year, and 25 pink Caddy's would be special paint code MK pink. It's the only way to get a pink Caddy from G.M. now. She owns the patient on the MK Pink color!
  20. Well, welcome aboard Bryce! geeze, it sure looks like yer bringin alot of talent to the forum! Your builds are NICE! You'll fit right in! Take a seat, join in an ENJOY!
  21. Depending on who cast your car, there's a coupla ways to prep it. Westley's is always on the list, but a good degreaser type soap can work too. I use Simple Green just wash it down real good with a tooth brush an let it air dry. I've also used "New Dawn" dishsoap. Just clean it REAL good an let it dry, an you should be good ta go!
  22. James, no company ever offered the Cuda Coupes in those years. Not till MPC brought out the 70 Hemi Cuda, did they cast a coupe. R&R makes a coupe, I've got one, but it does need a little "fine tuning" to make it right, but it IS nice when your thru. Try Steve Kohler over at Star Models, he carries the R&R line. I think Bandit Resins makes a coupe too. There's some 67/69 coupes out there in resin, but ya gotta hunt 'em down! Hope this helped! One just sold on the Bay,last week, it was done by Those Casters who shall go WITHOUT recognition because of their LOUSY buisness practices. Besides, they're SUPPOSED to be OUT OF BUISNESS!!!!(which they SHOULD be)
  23. What I THINK Lee is refering to, Is a Company in Fla.(if I'm NOT mistaken) that makes ALL Fiberglass bodies for the 66/67 Nova, 69 Mustang Mach,AND late 60's Vette. They're SLIGHTLY modded bodies, Like Larger rear wheelwells an lower roof lines, stuff to make it easier to rod them out. I saw an article in Hot Rod Magazine about them a few years back, But I can't remember the name of the Co.
  24. Ok Harry, tryin ta pull a fast one on my fat lil self,eh? Well thas ok, caz I knows ya gots ta eat too! I'm eatin up this here car you got for us. I'm goin with MODEL. Somethin along the lines of a "Poke-her" 1/8th or something like that!
  25. And YOU SIR, are Quite welcome, And Thank YOU! for EVERYTHING!!!!
