  1. WoW Tom, an you live over near the right coast! Hopefully we'll get it here in Deeetroit by next week sometime. And here's hopin that lil hawiian dude's arms haven't fallen off yet!
  2. Well Cap'n, from the looks of it, you seem to be off to a good start. Now, whatcha gone do wit watcha got? You REALLY think MY big rear end isgonna fit in 'at thang? Oh, you mean THAT rear end! Well it don't look like nuttin you cain't handle, so git to handlein it!
  3. I THINK that's the motor out of the AMT power boat re-issue.You know the one, from the early 60's, that was re-issued a few years back?It comes with a Ford(I think) V-8 and a Chris Craft straight six I THINK.Anyway, that's MY 2 cents.
  4. Bill, sad to say, but I'm afeared that engine's what kilt that car! It was a BEAUTIFUL design, probably one of Cadillacs most classic lines in a newer car. Chysler AND Lincoln both tried to copy it with no success. Yep, it shore wuz one of the purtiest cars Caddylak ever dun! But that engine! They had more problems with that DoD (Displacement on Demand) Engine than minutes in a day! And they KNEW it was a DOG BEFORE THEY PUT IT IN!!! But that was back inna day when G.M. could throw away a coupla million bucks on "potential" engine projects.
  5. Rob, nope man, guess we were too busy admirein it to remember to take PICS of the durnthing! It was pearl white with a white leather interior. Man talk bout a NICE car! Air, tilt, cruise, power EVERYTHING! If Cad had put a small block chevy in them, they'd sold a GAZILLION of em!!! Joe's S-10 was a Black on Black 96 4X4 with a centrifical supercharger on it. He had Duals on the rear, and he could smoke ALL 6 tires on that one! He would build these things during the year, then sell them at the Auto-Ramas car corral every year in Jan. Or to the Big Shots at work, who wanted"Toys" to play with! They sure were nice, and he did GREAT work!
  6. I got the NEOPLAN N 1216 Citibus in 24th scale By Revell of Germany from my Granddaughter Emmi.(EMILIA) The Danbury Mint's NEW 70 Charger in Pulm Crazy, from my daughter Joy and her husband Phil. And BOTH NEW Mustangs the Shelby, and the KR 500, from Theresa ,an some clothes. All in all, it was purty neet! I'm HAPPY!!!!!
  7. That was an 80/85 Seville if I remember correctly. Joe Moceri Had one that he bought with a blown 4/6/8 DoD engine in it. He pulled it out a dropped a built 400 small block in it. That car ran like heck! He could smoke the front tires the WHOLE length of our parking lot! He ALSO had a supecharged 350 Chevy 4Whl Drv. S-10. But THAT'S a WHOLE nuther story! He ended up sellin it to one of the BIG shirts at work, for what he always said was QUITE a profit!
  8. And to ALL my Forum Brothers and Sisters, Mele malaka hiemie kalunka moa! Or in MY talk, Merry Christmas,EVERYONE! And PLEASE DON'T forget Who's Birthday it is!!!May God Bless us ALL!!!

  10. Ben, if I'm not mistaken, those LOOK like the super secret unobtainium BBC Alloy heads. The Int/Exh. valves were reveresed in these top secret heads. Yours look like 'em to me!

An it'COLD(An DEEP!...BADum Dum!)So I'm wonderin if anynone here in the Motor City area knew if'n there was a meetin tonite for the Downriver Model Car Club? It's supposed to be our Christmas Party tonite, but with 8 inches of snow outside I hardly think our Ohio Brothers will make it, But you never know!? So can anyone give me a buzz or post a reply?Pat Redmon, or Mike"Raisin"Garret can ya post somethin maybe? Guy's?
  25. Gary, that's a good question! Too bad I DON'T know the answer! But, I read somewhere that Evercoat has , or is made WITH styrene plastic IN it. I don't know how true this is,BUT if it doesn't hurt the plastic in the model, chances are it MIGHT not hurt the Evercoat. I've never done it so I can't tell ya for sure what'll happen, But I'd try it.(not that, that means you have to!) One of the guy's know better? How bout it fellas??
