  1. Guys, I don't deal alot with the Bay, but recently I did buy somethin, and when I went to pay for it, It wouldn't let me access the sellers name OR address. He stated that he'd accept the Bay, M.O. or USPO.(postal M.O.) So I wanted to pay by M.O. and Evil Bay, WOULDN'T let me Access his address or Name, to send him one. I just think it's unfair that the bastiges take a cut from your sales, THEN charge you for using them!I have an E-Bay account, so it wasn't a big deal, but since WHEN have they been FORCING you to have to use paypal? It's getting to the point where even if you WANT to accept a M.O. THEY WON'T LET YOU!!!! Man, that sure sucks!
  2. Mike, GREAT build, I really like the paint job.Really nice color, the top looks great too! does it have T-Tops? The ONLY thing I can see that KINDA throws it off are the Blue lines on the tires.Just too clashing with the green for me, but that's just me.All in all, I think it looks pretty cool! And I likeses it!
  3. Was that a Chery?
  4. Ed, that's niiiicccceeeee!I like the color and the wheels! It built up pretty neat for a curbside, and you did it justice. Really do like the color though, what is it?(I mean, besides Dupli-color brown)

  8. Well Steve, not to take ANYTHING from "Chopper", but you sure did give him a nice canvas to paint on! That truck looks great! I also LOVE that lil 41 Chevy you've done. Your just as talented in your skills as Chopper is in his! That paint job sure is KILLER! The stance, wheels, the whole package is too cool!

  12. Eric, that bad boy looks mean just as it is! It'll be a definate KILLER when it's done Daddy-O. The wheels an that LOOOOW stance really make a BIG difference in it's looks! You got a real cool look goin there Bud, CHARGE ON!!!
  13. Todd, personally, I'da bought the rear door all the way out to the rear pan(valance),caz it looks like it might be kinda hard to match the rear quarters up to it(the door panel). At least for me it would. Your skills may be much better than mine, so I ALWAYS go for the easier way out! Either way, it looks good for a starting point, an I'll be watchin this to see how it comes out,So far,So good, Don't stop now!

  15. Mark, If your refering to me, YES I like it!!!(There's 2 Georges on our forum) Like I said, the 37/39 styles are my favorite of the 30's Fords And yours looks GREAT! Too bad no one kits the 39 it's such a pretty car, and I like it MUCH more than the 40. You did a beautiful conversion there, and you should be proud of how it came out.In BLACK paint, no less!!!! GREAT JOB!!!
  16. WOW, my uncle Greg (my Dads little brother, who had ALL the cool cars in the family)had a 54 Pontiac Star Chief Convert, with that motor, but it SURE din't look as COOL as that! GREAT use for it, REALLY different, AND cool! I likes it alot Ken, TOO COOL!!!
  17. Well CP, THATS somthin ya don't see everyday! Looks good though! I mean , a PRO STOCK EDSEL! If it din't look so mean it mighta been funny( A Funny Car, get it?) Either way, it looks great for a first time shot. I got a feelin you'll just get better! It's WAY out the box thinkin that makes this hobby SO MUCH FUN!!! You dun GOOD!!!
  18. Eelco, I was gonna be a smart butt, but I figgered your gonna end up messin it up if I was, So..... 1st, is your dizzy pre-drilled? If not, take a pin and try to make a pilot mark for a .035 size drill. Then drill into the terminals on the Dist. Drill matching holes in the heads where the plugs are located. If you wanna get nuts, just get a Chiltons /Motor Manual, and find the firing order for your particular engine. Then just run the wires acording to the manual. As far as plug boots just cut them to size, and push the wires into them.I use super glue for that, applied with a needle, or pin.It might be better if you tried it on a junk engine first, just to get the hang of it.Thats really about the jist of it. I sure hope this helps, and you can make sense of it!
  19. OK STOP NOW! If you guys kill Treehugger Dave I will Personally hunt you down and do NASTY things to your puppies!! ( )
  20. Doggone it Kev, see whut yas dun? THAT,S THE REASON REVELL 's QUITTIN MAKIN NASCAR MODELS!!!! Ya dun it all on yer own kidd-o KILLED a WHOLE form of model kits! That's ok with me, cazI don't waste my time on that stuff, BUT YOU my freind have probly made a whole mess a NEW eminies with that lil racer! Me, personally I LIKE it, But what about them nascar loyalists? Anyway it cum out good an that as close to nascar as I care to get! GREAT JOB KIDD-O!!!
  21. That shore is purty! If you think this is nice, ya really shouda seen what he bought to Toledo! I'd heard an seen so much about Ted"Chopper"Lear, that to finally SEE with mine own eyes what everyone was talkin about, Yeeesh, They didn't say ENOUGH! This guy is a genius! He's up there with Treehugger as far as I'm concerned. Just absolutly great models! I looked for him, but I didn't get the chance to meet him. Oh Well, I'll make it a point to, NEXT year!
  22. Tuff1, Quite a while back, I purchased a conversion kit from the Modelhaus that included the scooped hood, air cleaner(for the Ram-Air) an spoiler for the trunk. They may still be in his inventory, but I haven't looked . They are beautifully cast, and up to his high standards. Check 'em out, you WON'T be disapointed!
  23. WOW Bob, THANKS! I sure found that thread to be interesting reading! I remember seein some of those same cars at Det roit Dragway back in the day, and I DIDN'T know they were factory built! I thought they were built by the owners! Well ,you live an learn. Thanks for the info, and now I feel a little less stupid thanks to that! See, even guys from across the pond can teach some of us "Yanks" a thing or two about our own sport!VERY appericiated!
  24. I feel kinda sorry for all the NASCAR builders out there, But What was there to build? They ALL look the same! Just different decals. NASCAR QUIT bein NASCAR a LOOOONG time ago! I haven't seen what looks like a stock car in YEARS! I grew up watchin the old cars, and enjoyed them, but there haven't been ANY STOCK cars in decades. The junk the folks hafta watch now are just cookie cutter cars. ALL of them look the same.Just pick your favorite advertiser, instead of brand loyalty.I know this may start a big fuss, but as I said, there haven't been ANY stock cars in a LOOOOONG time!
  25. Yeah Tony, I think they just popped em in different colors. My IMC volksie was Green, My Avenger was green, and i had 2 IMC Dodge trucks, the LRW was ,of course, RED, and the IMC "Touch Tone Terror"was molded in white. They also made the Big Dodge Tilt cab that Lindburgs got out now, in white. All were pretty nice, if not fiddely, kits to build. At least I liked em!
