Steef, a kit is only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay for it, nothing else.Plastic has NO intrinsic value, it's only PLASTIC!. But the joy someone gets out of building it CAN be priceless. Your particular kit is not that rare, even if it is still wrapped, heck I've got two of em still wrapped downstairs! I was gonna build em years ago, then Revell came out with their 69 Charger and Poof! now they just sit onna shelf. If they turn out to be worth somethin, I'd like to know, caz them rascals'll be GONE!!! -
Un, if it's ANYTHING I do know about, it's Chevys. I tend to gravitate to Mopes too. Never been much of a furd guy, but that don't mean I don't like em,I just like Chevys and Mo-pars more, Thats all.

Jurg, yer lil truck an trailer came out KILLER!!! The 2 tone paint job is nice an smooth, an the wood in the bed makes a great contrast of color. It ALL looks good!. But.... Whacha takin to the Flats? It looks like it might need somethin else to be completely done.Maybe a racer on the trailer? Either way, racer or no, it came out GREAT!!!!

Well Dave,TECHNICALLY I wasn't really gone,But I wasn't here either.Remember the ol Superman comics, where they had the"Phantom Zone"? Well THATS where I was, Till "The Force"that ALL the guys here exude was able to bring me back from the "Void, Zone", or what ever they call the etherial plain of cyberspace. And, I have all you guys to thank for it, you boys dun me rite! I guess it's just that we modelers are one big happy family, and SOMEONE missed me an helped me get back.Deepest thanks to all of you! I owe you all a big debt of gratitude! And PLEEZE don't tell Gregg how I messed up, what he don't know won't make me look stoopid! If that's possible! -
Un, I really like the idea of you usin a Pontiac engine in it! EVERYBODY uses Chevy engines in just about everything, It's nice to see a change of pace. Hey it's a GM engine inna GM, so whats the diff? It'll look good whatevers powerin it!

PPSSSSSTTTTTTT. Fellas, I got back on usng a new password. So lets just kinda keep this on the down low.I mean, it's not like EVERYBODY needs to know I'm not playin with a full deck!Besides, If ony we know about it, an no one tells Gregg, MAYBE I won't look so stupid. But, then again........ Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! (and everybody on it!)
-
Bob, I know that it gets kinda boring havin to watch all these older kits bein reissued, but when I last talked with John G. he was sayin that they'd be goin slow to start with, but that in time they'd be givin us new kits. Every journey starts wih the first step. Lets just hope for a good long happy trip!

Hope ya got some good stuff from the bay, cause I'ma just itchin(ok, maybe I COULD use a bath)to see yer next WIP! Welcome back Bud, an stay away from the.....Heavy Machinery! -

Brad, you still have a REAL Challenger? Too Cool. And YES, for as beautiful as they looked, ALL those years Chryslers were built like ######!I was lucky to own 2, a 69 Charger R/T 440 4spd, and a 69 Super Bee 440 automatic. The 68/70 B-bodys were some of the (if NOT THE)most beautiful cars Chrysler ever built, But, I've never been in one that din't sound like you were kickin a trash can every time you closed the door, trunk, or hood. And they had a nasty habit of tearin at the top of the drivers door Quarter panel seam, from too much torque twist.Thats how I can tell it the cars been raced, or restored. But, even with those few flaws, I'd still give one of my nu#* to have either one back again. They were brutally fast, and beautiful, and will ALWAYS remain as 2 of my favorite cars!
