  1. In MY opinion, this was the LAST of the stylish Mustangs! After 70, they turned into the junky boxmobiles with NO style! You did this one right proud,Marcos! And Congratulations on the cover shot!!!!
  2. Bill, I just checked, and yes, the 66 has small horizontal pleats, and the 67 has small VERTICLE pleats! Other than that and the fender mounted turn signals, they look the same!
  3. Joseph, the link didn't work. Years ago Model Cars Magazine did a story on how to make a charcoal bucket filter. I made one, and have used it in my spraybooth ever since. I paint in my model room in the basement, and my wife can't smell the fumes, so it works for me!
  4. Steve retired from Chanellock, so he does knoweth of whence he speaketh! Plus he's a pretty good builder too!
  5. Me too, it sits JUST right! It's lookin GOOD,Felipe. Gonna be a sharp model!!!!
  6. Just get yourself a 25th scale ruler an you'll never have to guess OR figure it out again!
  7. Is there a point to this whole thread? It's more fun than informative!
  8. Not to be rude, Anthony, but WHAT else does it NEED to do, but sit on a lowboy? It IS just a model, after all. Unless your going all out for a Dio, it serves the purpose very nicely.
  9. Guess I been around too long. Wheelcovers are terms car salesmen used. Me an my freinds have always called them hubcaps, we've always called it Posi'traction, UNLESS we were talking about SPECIFIC rear ends, NEVER have used the term rat rod, unless it was REALLY UGLY, BBC's have always been Rat engines(ALOOOOONG time ago, we called 'em porcupine's due to the way the valve stems are all crazy angled), and I don't believe it has ANY conotation to the junk some guys call rat rods. Things change, but yet stay the same!
  10. OHHHH YEAH! That's a NICE lookin truck!!! You did a REALLY NICE job on it, you should enter that rascal inna contest!!!!
  11. Dom, did you use the full glue kit, or the snapper kit? If you used the glue kit, you did a HECK of a job linein up the panels! it came out REALLY nice! Don't think I've ever seen a Turbine bodied funny car!
  12. Kevin's a clubmember, (so is Jeff and Kris) an a personal freind, that being said, you'll have to go pretty far to match the quality of ANY DRAG members works! They REALLY DO go the extra mile to do a GREAT job. I'll EASILY rate them among the BEST resin casters around, right up there with the Modelhaus AND replicas and Miniatures stuff!!!!
  13. WOW! That looks ta be the old Revell opening hood trunk and doors,57 Chevy!!! You did a heck ova job on that rascal too! I give FULL CREDIT to ANYONE who finishes one of these bad boys and does as good a job as you have on this one!!! VERY nice build of a rather difficult model! My hats off to you ,my freind!
  14. One of the Mints had a beautiful Airstream trailer about 10 years ago! I found ne at one of the toyshows for only 150 bucks, but I was too late, when I asked about it, it was already sold, and the show had JUST opened!!! THOSE little trailers are beautiful!!!! i wonder if he sells them to the general public????
  15. I stand with Nick on this. I've ordered MANY times from Vaughn and I've NEVER been dissapointed!!!
  16. I have this kit as a Revell Die cast. It's 25th scale, practically FALLS together and makes a REAL NICE lookin model ta boot!!!! Mine is a model kit so it doesn't come with opening doors, but the hood opens to reveal the Subi's turbo's boxer engine.
  17. Looks good ta me,Terry! Go for it!!!
