This is an EXCELLENT kit! The detail is VERY nice, the subject matter is excellent and if you just follow the instructions, you'll come out with a VERY nice model! I found no problems with it.

My daughter built models with me from about 7 or 8 till about 12 or 13 when she fond out about boys. She's 34 now an laughs when she sees I've kept her models(NO plastic model is thrown away in my house!)for so long. But to me, shes still 10 and they are her latest projects. You will have some WONDERFUL memories with him! Just keep bolstering his talents. If he's like his Dad, He'll be OK!

Jim, I had the pleasure of talkin with Chopper at length about the Buicamino, and it was a real treat just talkin about how he went about building the bed cover. That thing is done SOOOOO smoothly, you won't find a ripple or bow or flaw anywhere on it. It really does look like something GM coulda done, HAD they done one. I told him as much, and he replied, "Thanks, THAT was what I was goin for!" He sure accomplished that!!!

I saw you talkin with those gentlemen over by the table, but I didn't want to interrupt your discussion. It's REALLY cool to see guys such as yourselves just diggin the show. Micheal P. Check out Jack at Model Round-up. I got one from him last year or so and the MPC Bonney interior an chassis fit like a glove! Look in Model Round-Up's Resin section. I think I only paid about 25 bucks for it. Nicely cast too.

I got two Die Casts, that came as un-assembled kits. I ASSEMBLED them, so to me, yes, they ARE model kits. As mentioned earlier, they are just a different medium.

Niko, Ken Nymans Chevelle is a 65 with a 67 front end! Never seen that. Never even thought of doin that, but it fits an looks good.

As a kid in southeast Michigan(Detroit Area) we used to see these beautiful aircraft flying overhead spraying of all things, Mosquito killer spray! They flew kinda low,low enough so at least you could make out the detail on them, This was in the early 60's.
