  2. My best freind Kenny Martin's dad had one of these new and MAN was it a BIG ol boat for a 7 year old kid. Always liked the tailights on these barges!!!
  3. All the blowers I've ever seen were direct mechanical linkage to the GO pedal.

  6. WoW Pat, I hadn't checked in since you made the new hood, but WOW, and I mean it! I've never seen someone custom a custom, but YOU sure did! GREAT lookin ride so far Pat! I like the color too, it keeps with the MM vibe!
  7. I have two of those Revell car hauler kits an neither of them came with a load. The box SHOWS a load on it, but they AREN'T included in the kit.

  9. Didja build it right out the box,Irv? The wheels look like they're in kinda far. Is that the stock position for them, or a result of the lowering you did? Either way, it came out GREAT!
  10. I've never heard of plastic absorbung odors. At least not model car plastic. ONCE i got a kit that smelled of moth balls, but never smelled plastic that was just soaked. Maybe it was something caustic, cause I've never heard of styrene absorbing odors. but hey anything is possible. Maybe washing it in something strong, like Simple Green, or New Dawn with grease cutters, would wash the smell away. I've never heard/smelt any plastic that absorbed odors. Maybe it was TOO porous, an absorbed them. Very intersting thing to have happen.....Hmmmmmmm.
  11. I ran Ansen Sprints on both my Charger and Super bee, so I'm likein the slots too. Just a nice street racer look to 'em.

  20. The so called Olds engine is actually a Cadillac engine, the Northstar. It is a Cadillac designed engine, NOT an Olds, even though Cadillac shared it for the last few years of Oldsmoblie production.
  21. The DeHavilland Mosquito is my FAVORITE WWII aircraft. I got the 1/24th scale model from Airfix, MAN is that rascal nice AND big too!!!

  23. If you think THAT would take up space, try buildin 24th/25th scale Airplanes. They are beautiful to look at when finished, but MAN do they take up ALOT of space!!!! Kinda remind me of all the space my old 1/8th kits used to take up!
  24. Harry, Daddy-O that rascal'll probably go for MORE than BOTH our houses!!! I'mma be content with my four little MPC 70/71 Cudas, anna WHOLE CASE of them revell new Cudas. Hey, I'll even build one for the "Mini" cruise on my shelf!!!!
