  1. Maybe the problem is cause JoHan NO LONGER EXISTS!!!!! The NAME is still around, but the COMPANY who produced these cars has been gone fpr YEARS!!! The junk that Okie is passing off as JoHan kits are nuthing but leftover parts! IF you unfortunate to need one of his kits, it's no better than the bagged kits your Ma used to get you for a buck from the A&P food markets! His interiors are just USELESS lumps of resin, you MAY get a useable dash out of it, but don't look for accuracy. Your best bet is to try to adapt a different interior. I get rather perterbed that guys actually think they're getting an ORIGINAL JoHan kit when they buy Okies,"Jokes". If you ever saw a REAL original JoHan kit, you'd see and NOTICE the differences right away!!! Okie just sells the NAME, NOT the quality.
  2. Not at all, Tony! I think it really adds a bit of 'Life" to an otherwise lifeless scene. I just like dogs,Bro. Your avitar is cool. It reminds me of the "Rocket Cat"! Here in Detroit we got ALOTTA "Junk Yard" dogs. Detroiters must LIKE the look of derilict cars in their yards, caz it seems they ALL got at least one in their yards!!!! I can leave my gates open and my dog won't come out of my yard unless I call him out. He's a GREAT dog!!!(He's a WestHighland Terrier, a Westie, so you KNOW he's a feirce little guy!!!LOL!!!)
  3. Here in Deeetroy, you can have a loose dog in your YARD, but if you walk 'em they MUST be onna leash. Most "Yard Dogs" are legal loose IN THEIR YARD. but again IF they leave their yard they gotta be onna lead or leash. I just happen to LIKE dogs alot, so to ME, ALL dogs ARE pets, NOT just Yard dogs. But that lil rascal of yours adds ALOT to the Dio!
  4. Whew Bryan, put Ansen Sprints and a white stripe on that rascal an you got my Charger! Flat out BEAUTIFUL cars, Aren't they? Mine didn't have a tricked out Hemi, but that 440 4spd was PLENTY fast enough for me! This is comeing along beautifully!!! THANKS for shareing!!!
  5. Thanks,Tony! Happy Dad's day to YOU too,yerno!

    75 Cutlass

That's a 24th scale chassis under there? FIRST time i've ever seen one fit into a 25th scale body so well, almost like it was made for it! It's comming out REALLY good!!!
  8. Ok, this MAY sound nutty, but i'm against ANY mistreatment of ANY animals. This IS a GREAT idea, BUT if you just leave the chain OFF or just a bit of chain left so it looks like the poor dog ISN'T CHAINED to ONE spot. How would any of US like to be CHAINED to our home? Just an observation from an ol dude that LOVES his dog. These dogs deserve a BIT of freedom for guarding our "Holy Grails". But THANK YOU for posting this, caz dogs are a BIG part of most of us car crafters lives!!!
  9. Triple black 69 Charger R/T'S are my FAVORITE Chargers(I owned one) Im gonna watch this one close!!! Thanks!
  10. Ohhhhhh thats NICE an low! I LIKE it! VERY smooth!
  11. Double WOW! Who'da thunk such a NICE model was stuck under all that paint! Good eye!!! GREAT SAVE!!!! You did a heckava job on that little rascal!
  12. I have used these chassis under ALL my old69/70 B bodied JoHans. They fit PERFECTLY under both the 69 Roadrunner and GTX, and the 70 Roadrunner and GTX. I used it under the 70 GTX conversion from Bandit Resins, and aside from a bit of narrowing in the rear at the sides of the trunk edges, it just drops in!!! Your little Roadrunners got ALL the looks it needs for a Saturday nite on Woodward Ave!!!
  13. Never saw an AAR with a vynil roof. Don't think you could get one. Still hurts to see such a nice car trashed out, even if it IS a model!
  14. It came out GREAT ,Micheal! I especially like the color. Like you painted it any color you could get just to get some paint on it! Not like there wasn't alotta olive drab paint layin around! Great job!
  15. Airstream? Like the trailer???? I wasn't aware there was one outside of the Franklin Mint one.
  16. Sorry for goin off topic Brian. My bad.
  17. WoW! That gentleman can do some scratchbuildin there! Thank you for posting that,Slim. He IS very good. Very impressive modeling.
  18. I've always thought, because of all the straight panels this particular car had, it wouldn't be too hard too copy. I do not know if it WAS, but you did a hellava job on it Brother!!! It came out PERFECT!! you did a GREAT job on it!!!!
  19. Got this one too! Then I find the 41 offered by RMR resins an Mastered by Steve Z. It'sa GREAT conversion kit! the roofs been chopped an the body has been cleaned up real nice. Use the 40 willy's street machine to finish it up, it makes for a great lookin kit too!
  20. I like yellow! It looks good to me! AND Shiney!!!!
