  4. Sounds like a Marine Corps Chinook. Heavy lift vehicle with twin rotors, one at each end. you need something like 1/72 scale or smaller to find one that small, as they are large aircraft. Hth, good luck!

  11. WElcome Dominic! If you speak model car, then you won't have ANY problems! Just join into the discussions or offer advice if you can, it's all the same. Please post a picture or two if you want. just pull up a chair and ENJOY!!!!
  12. Panteras were BEAUTIFUL cars! They were sold thru our local Lincoln/Mercury dealer, Stu Evans. I think I priced one at around 5 grand back then 71 or 72. STILL a knockout!
  13. My buddy Steve Perry not only logs all his build hours, but he also takes pictures of his build during it's construction stages. Once the build is thru, he makes a journal to display with the model when he displays them at contests. Steve has won a few trophys at GLS so it does help to some extent. Plus it's really cool to see the model being built up.
  14. Beautiful build! The folks across the street from us had a new one in white. I remember being jealous of them, but they made a big deal about my moms Lincoln. Didn't know then that it was a luxury car. I dug Gary's Chevy!!! I like yours too! Great job!
  15. Wow! I'm not even into tuners but that's cool! Whered the body come from. I have a tamiya kit that doesn't have those flairs, it think it's a street R-30 something that I put an LT-5 in. I had to open the hood on mine though. Pretty car.Nice job.
  16. John, I've never even heard of this car, much less ever seen it! This thing is beautiful. I'm with Harry on this one, a coupla those pics look like the REAL thing!
  17. I KNOW this sounds crazy, but I LIKE washing the parts down before assemble an building an painting(Don't usually get much past the primer stage!) caz it makes me feel like it's a personal thing with the model. I like lookin the trees over as i wash them, and seein what parts are fragile an reguire attention, and checkin the body out for dips in the panels and parts. i dunno, I guess it's just me. If we gonna spend time together, might as well get to know each other.
  18. Bill, I felt the same way. i have that Grand Prix kit but couldn't bring myself to steal the dash. But I managed to find one(a dash) at a toyshow and I have it now if you want/think maybe you could mod it, have it casted and i'd take a copy. You can have the master. Just let me know,Daddy-O!
  19. No fair Chuck! I haven't gotten mine yet.
  20. Seems to be weight, however slight on the tires, the spokes are just too fine for PE. I say REAL.
  21. WOW! Very nice job!
  22. Off to a good start,Davin. Personally, I LIKE this kit. i matched it up with an original AMT 65 Dodge, an it looked pretty good to me. I don't understand why folks don't like it. It'll look sinister in black, you leavein it that color?
  23. Virge, I went out an bought an EXTRA issue of that, just to keep in the box with the same JoHan Olds that Juha used! One of these days.........
  24. Steve, as long as it's not MOLDY i think all you need ta do is just mix it up REAL thouroghly. Ive never known Eurosoft to harden without adding the hardener, so maybe it just needs ta be stirred better. Hth.
