More kits than I can even mention. lot of started projects going at once. a few subject to change-lol 1>50 chevy pickup-Sherwood green-for "hot rod john" 2>a restore of a 67 t-bird for a friend-baby blue-white vinyl top for mark orr 3>fire truck street rod for a guy I used to work with-either candy apple red or apple red 4>just about to start formulating ideas for my 1/8 scale Harley sportster-color not decided yet 5>also about to start a resto of a 57 amt belair -a barn find that my brother built in the 60's - a few years before he was killed in nam too many more to list-lol

I build for the love of building. and like Richard Manson who was "spot on" when he said about building for the hobby but sometimes we push the envelope to better ourselves. no better reasoning for building than that.i will never care about living up to an image or trying to impress anyone. it's building model cars 101.You never strop building for yourself.

To be perfectly honest-depending on the build I do it a little of what everybody else said.A lot though is fit body parts and get them painted and let them have plenty of time to dry properly.again a lot has to do with my ideas of how I'm gonna build it.i do paint engine sub-assemblies as one piece.i've been building about 53 years and love it now more than ever.

First off I think Harry's comments are spot on.I like to comment on builds sometimes to give-praise encouragement-and advice.I couldn't be more proud to be a part of this forum.The one thing I can't believe is people who say things like I don't like the wheels or the color etc...Who cares.That is personal, opinion-that's the builders choice. That is not a comment on their work.I've seen builds that ilike better than some just because they thought out of the box and showed "originality and took a chance at something different".I will never -ever enter a contest because I love building not competing.We have a great forum and let's appreciate it.I.ve traded and met some great people on this site and have made a couple great friendships here.Sure there are a few people in every walk of life who think they're better than everybody else-who cares.
