Very nice. What is her or his name?

Resin that will make you fit as a king or Queen, not resin to give you fits. Does not include glue, paint and patience. Thank you.

OK Folks, here it is. The new and improved Fox body parts. There is a rectangle of clear for the side windows that is hard to see above the vacuum form windows. Mike and I are both pretty happy with this as long as they keep coming out of the mold like this one. Flash is almost nothing. I will have him inspect each one before they are sent out. He notices detail that I do not and his name is on this too. We appreciate your patience. Thank you, Greg

I have airbrushed some nail polish before. I purchased small bottles of thinner from Sally Beauty. Four ounces for about three bucks with a card. There are such stores here in AZ. I am confused by the lack of this particular item on the shelves at the big box stores but there is plenty of remover on hand. I have found that thinner and remover are two different animals. Folks on here that really know this stuff will be more helpful.

WOW! She is a beauty.

Welcome to the board, Deb. Nice work on the Corvette. If you are into nail polish on your fingers and toes you can learn to thin the polish and airbrush it on your models. I like to look at the amazing colors and textures that nail polish comes in these days and think they might just be the ticket for a cool custom paint job. I am into making parts out of resin so I don't really build, but do like the models posted here.

Send me a PM and I will add you to the list. Greg

I have a new mold done and getting dialed in so to speak. Production will soon resume.

It is a real beauty for certain, Brett. It would sure be nice if Revell would correct the tops of the front fenders. They are not sharply creased but rounded. Apolo White or Saturn yellow were the only two colors in 1970. For some reason these names were chosen because of the NASA space program. MCG makes a photo etch set for this that really makes the detail pop. You can paint the red in the fender badges and they look real.

The Zen of Model Building
Greg Wann replied to afx's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I was thinking the same way. What would John Teresi say on this subject? He is a bit of a guru for knocking builds out of the park. We do tend to put John on a pedestal too but he does them with masterful detail and builds quickly. I just send him subjects that i think are cool and he just puts them over the top. There are a lot of amazing model builders on this forum, John certainly is not the only one. Personally, I am unable to paint and glue those fiddly little parts together. -
I have seen a list of alternative names for Viagra that are pretty funny. One of them is mydixafloppin. LOL

Some really Sweet turbos from Shucky
Greg Wann replied to envious8420's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Those are very impressive parts. They have been formed on the same level and the flash between the parts is thin. -

My parts are also dishwasher safe! I am working on a plumbing related item and I did a test for SMOOTH-ON TASK 8 resin specifications. The pink one is task 8 with a little red dye mixed in. I am trying to squeeze it to bend it after pulling it out of boiling water. The white part is SMOOTH-ON 300 resin. It drooped on it's own upon removing it from the water. I really don't use it for model parts anymore. They won't melt in your mouth or the trunk of your car. The many hours and dollars you spent on a contest car won't melt away from heat stroke.

Hi Mike, I posted some fresh photos of the new mold making process. You can PM me on this forum or the Forum I post my work on or my mastercaster1 email address. I am hopefully improving my mold making skills this year. I did switch silicone, actually a better one. It is actually just about the same price by the pound and I can drive to Tempe and pick it up to save on shipping.. I am pretty excited for the new resin casting year. With some new projects that are plumbing related and some custom work I do I hope I can keep up. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do resin work with a real job I have to go to. Greg

They are indeed both very good. I am hoping Harry will turn a voting poll on.
-
I can't draw. It would be a conflict of as interest anyway. My voting would be a conflict of interest too. I had hoped for more entries. Both are really good though.

There is only about 24 hours left for entries. I had hoped for more participation. Two nice entries so far.
