  1. There is a short VW bug around here. It has a key on the back that turns in a counterclockwise direction as it goes down the road and the guy crawls in and out of a hatch opening in the roof.
  2. A buddy of mine is working on a 75 Buick Century master and some type of 59 Desoto. Ron Lambert is still working on a 69 Vista Cruiser kit for me. The 90 Fox Hatch is in process of getting the molds made. The Buick might make for a nice wagon version eventually.
  3. Nice, I too would like to know what resin you chose?
  4. http://smcbofphx.proboards.com/thread/1997/mike-schnur-hatchback-mustang-project Here is a link to the project. Thank you.
  5. Send me a email to: mastercaster1@cox.net. If you were overlooked by the first kits offering, I apologize. I can still make these kits for you. You won't need to pay until your order is ready for mailing. I have been battling depression for several weeks and am trying to come alive again. Literally forcing myself to do things in my life including the casting work.
  6. Mold creation should start soon. You will be diverted to the resin zone.
  7. Very nice work, Matt
  8. Hopefully the silicone and resin Gods will be better to me on this than the other Mustang Fox body project. It took five different molds to get something worth having. I also learned that the silicone I was using was not a good choice. It is rumored at my work that the night shift job I like might be ending and I will be moved to four ten hour days. This is really going to suck for getting anything done. I also am partnering into an existing plumbing company. My hopes were to do some plumbing work during the day and work at ASU at night. Unfortunately I am severely ADHD! When was that going to leave time for resin casting? I had not really thought it through. That makes me pretty thinly spread. The shift change will really screw up my master plan if it happens. I only needed another year and a half to get the wifey through her Doctoral degree at ASU, it is cheap since I work there. Then she would get a good job and be my sugar Mamma. LOL, then the partnership would keep me busy and out of trouble after I leave ASU.
  9. I am so sorry to hear of your health issue. This is very serious. Everyone should be very understanding of your situation. Life is too short as it is. Greg
  10. Looks like another fine project in progress, Mike. I still need to get caught up on the first offering. Real life stuff has kept me busy. My oldest brother passed away Sunday. I will be in Lafayette, Indiana for a few days.
  11. http://www.firstgenmc.com/museum/convertibles.shtml COOL! I found a site dedicated to these convertibles.
  12. Very nice build.
  13. Glad to hear you registered successfully to become a member of this great forum.
  14. COOL! Did Aaron say what the seating total is?
  15. A man does need to know his limitations for certain. Suggesting some time on a performance driving course before purchase is quite good. Funny thing for me is: My first car was a 72 Buick GS 455 car that my older brother ordered new. In my youth, that was the only car I owned that I never wrecked. My driving record went bad when I bought a 78 VW Rabbit.
  16. WOW! Wonderful, powerful choice, John
  17. http://www.smooth-on.com/media.php SMOOTH - ON offers online videos as well. The company has been in business since 1896 according to the print on boxes of materials I buy. You just can't ask a video a question and you just can't show your own project to a video. The company makes their own products. Aaron describes gigantic vats in the factory where he had to go for around three weeks of getting to know the products. He was employed first when I met him at Ball consulting, a store that carried the Polytek line of silicone and resin products. Reynolds Advanced Materials bought them out. I see the same seminar is free in Chicago. Harry the Admin should sign up.
  18. BMF used to offer black chrome.
  19. Silversmithing school and jewelry? I have a project you might be able to help me with. I am sending a PM.
