  1. http://www.price-driscoll.com/ I use the Ultra 4 paintable mold release. Despite what it says, I spray it in brush it around and let it set for about 20 minutes before pouring any resin in. If you don't allow it to gas out first you will make parts that will be rubbery and never cure properly. You might be able to call them for a free sample can. That's what they used to do but times have changed in the business world.
  2. THAT'S A REEEEAAAAALLLLLY NIIIICCCCCE!! Is that guy still alive??
  3. It has worked for me at times also.
  4. It was strange when I turned 50. Suddenly people started calling me sir and fast food restaurants were giving me senior discounts.
  5. AWESOME WORK, Ryan. Looks really good.
  6. You are welcome. I make a flip nose version in resin. John Teresi has a gold one on here he built. A very nice build indeed. I also make the tail liight lenses in clear resin too so the backup light can be painted around. I tried to make it a separate part but it's too tiny to deal with!
  7. I did not read other responses! Tamiya is some kind of hybrid paint. I once painted a seat racing read and two hours later nothing would remove it but Mr. Paint Remover. It laughed at brake fluid, oven cleaner and the purple pond too. You will want to be careful with resin. You might just have to sand it smooth and paint over it!
  8. Very nice build. My first car was a 72 GS. The only thing I see wrong with the car kit is the sharp curve on top of the fenders. It's supposed to be a nice soft curve there and even more so towards the head light.
  9. That is really cool! One of my favorite cars. The kit companies keep pumping out all kinds of hardtops but never any convertibles, I just don't get it!
  10. http://www.rocketfin.com/model_car_links.html Try searching this extensive list.
  11. That is a song that I really like. That was how I found this site a few years ago.
  12. http://www.barchetta3500.com/ Here is a car that I really like and priced very well for being custom hand built. There is a physics lesson about weight versus HP being produced by the engine. Really cool read. This would be a nice model subject too.
  13. Great job.
  14. I have heard that just putting them in the freezer for awhile will make them fall apart.
  15. Is that Ringo Star? Nice!
  16. http://www.ebay.com/...=item2eb84b3c47 Here is a EvilBay BUY IT NOW
  17. I have an original issue I would be willing to part with but I would like to make new tire molds before I let it go.
  18. I have done this before also. It does work.
  19. You left out the cockroach detail. When I go into an EQ room and flip the lights on and 500 cockroaches go 500 diferent ways, I know the sump pumps have failed! They can't swim. I have had them crawling all over me while trying to do repair work, nasty!
  20. I'm sure this seller is a legend in his own mind.
  21. Very nice work.
  22. I have not seen this movie but did see a movie where a guy driving a tanker trailer was trying to kill a guy in a rattle trap car. I think it was one of the first screenplays written by an author that is now famous. In the end the tanker trailer runs over a cliff and blows up.
  23. It's really nice but it looks black to me. Must be a really dark color.
