  1. You can buy a mini bead blaster. It is pretty much the same as a air brush. See if you can buy some glass polishing beads in a small amount, maybe a 5 pound can or something. http://www.dickblick...ndblasting-kit/
  2. http://www.thesecret.tv/index.html Wonderfull story. You made the secret work for you and this young person. BRAVO!
  3. I have one of these unbuilt but is missing the windshield and the frame. Franklin mint makes a really nice diecast in 1/24 scale. It comes with the uptop part too. I have pondered the idea of getting one and taking it apart and making molds of it to cast. I took apart a Franklin mint Mercedes W196 R race car to cast. It took me about three hours to take it apart and photogragh it in stages

    WOW!
  5. Real nice job. I did get a MPC 67 Toyota 2000 GT roadster kit I intend to cast in resin. Not sure when that will happen.
  6. Very nice!
  7. I grew up between Mellott and Newtown, IN. Both thriving towns when I was a young boy. Both now fallen into a heap of you know what.
  8. AWESOME!
  9. I bought a set for the 70 off of Evilbay some time ago. They were sent to me by a guy named Raymond Gravely. He was selling all kinds of rare pace car sets. I do have an address but that is it. He may not be selling anymore.
  10. I have a bunch of parts and bodies in the plans. Just not sure when they will go for a dip in the silicone.
  11. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Automotive-/2580/i.html?_trkparms=65%253A10%257C66%253A2%257C39%253A1&rt=nc&_catref=1&_sc=1&_sticky=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_sop=1&_sc=1 Type in diorama and do a search
  12. I am left of Johnathon who is left of Mark the tree. It was great to meet you Rommel. Your Eleanor will arrive soon. It was a great show. I Just can't thank Bernie and Mike Cholewa, Renee and others who are involved with all the real business end of the yearly shows creation. I do come and help set up but there is much more to it than my eyes see. Thanks also to Daryl for coming to take pics and to Kurt who was helping him. Kurt if you are out there please PM me. I need some contact info for Eleanor.
  13. I got back into modeling in 2005. I bought paint bottles and started that BB trick only to find that after they set awhile I could see rust stains going on. They aren't the same copper BB's that they were when I was building models in the late 60's and 70's. You could gp to Ace and pick up some nice SS ones or maybe get a decent bulk price on good old Evilbay.
  14. I would like a Buick Park Avenue. 74 to 76 maybe. There was a year that they were a four seat car with a console that ran the length of the interior. Pretty fancy too.
  15. Yes! That is it. This is the third one I have ever seen.
  16. Nice Job
  17. http://www.angelfire.com/me4/zoltancarnovaush/Simone.html Kind of reminds me of this Duesenburg Coupe Simone.
  18. Has anyone ever seen a 1970 "Billy Fileccia's Goat". It is a model of an all white 70 GTO funny car kit. I think MPC but not sure. Here is a pic of the reproduction decals. Yes, it was a MPC kit. I have only seen two of these kits. The one I sold on Ebay that was built and a crusty parts kit on Ebay. Got these decals from Ebay too.
  19. This stuff looks like it works really good. Tamiya paint is the worst to remove. I once painted a seat with Tamiya paint and two hours later I could not get anything to remove it except MR. PAINT REMOVER. That stuff was around 8 bucks for a four once bottle which probably makes this stuff cheaper by the ounce.
  20. I would need to get someone to master it. I'm not much good at actually making parts. My first car was a 72 Buick GS that my older brother ordered the way he wanted it. It was a 455 car. Statomist Blue with a black Vinyl top. Here is a pic of it.
  21. Really awesome work. I like it a lot.
  22. http://www.tcpglobal.com/HokPaint/?gclid=CJaMubuH650CFRQeDQodG0S_Qg Here is a place I have purchased ready to airbrush 4 ounce bottles from. I had no problems with them.
  23. I am a plumber too. I work at Arizona State University, been there 11 years now. Worked at Purdue University for 23 years before that. Plumbing work can be a real nightmare with all those board students around to purposely stop up drains and tear up stuff! Urinals and kitchen drains are the worst!
