    Stopped in at Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked up Stacey David's Rat Roaster for $14.99 on clearance, and two AMT Goodyear Polyglas GT Tire sets at $9.99 less $40% with Coupon....

    Yup....It's an MPC kit.... What you see on the display base is a chemical reaction between the styrene the base is made from and the vinyl plastic that the tires are made from.... A lot of the time if you crack open a new/old kit, you usually find the tires have left their mark ( so to speak ).... And usually on a very noticeable spot.... Enjoy your re-build....

I shop mostly on Ebay, at Toy Shows in Ohio and Michigan and my local Hobby Shop is Windsor Hobbies, obviously in Windsor On.     Yup.... Nascar Kits are not popular at all anymore.... The only ones I ever bought were the Days of Thunder cars.... Only because of the movie tie in, not to build....

    The Michaels nearest me has had the same stale Revell kits for going on three years now.... I go in every time I'm in the city, and leave empty handed each time....

    Revell 1970 Mustang Grande... I also have a 1969 Dodge Dart molded in dark green.... I think it was a test shot, as it has no box and everything in the bag is green.... Bill...
