That kink you see is real... That's how the alignment is done old school.... Put the car on the rack, chain it down, and jack up the axle from below until you get it lined up.... Yup, it's really bent... You must be a young fella...

John....What's up with the Transmission?....In post 38 you show a 4 speed, with very nice detail by the way, and now you are adding a dipstick for an Automatic Transmission....This is not right....You knew that though, didn't you?....

Gotta thank you for this one.... Used it today in Windsor Ontario Store..... No problems whatsoever....

According to the f-100 forum the 57-60 style box was brought out in 62... Ford had problems with the unibody style trucks, and used this box as a quick fix... By 63 they were using the new style box you see on this truck... There may have been some older style ones still in use for 4x4 applications though...
