  1. You can always do an ebay search using keywords to filter him out of your searches.
  2. Beautifully done. Like the grille, love the paint and the overall level of detail. The only "fly in the ointment" are the too-black panel lines. But other than that, spctacular!

Wow! Nice color, beautiful paint. But aren't the front wheels a little too far rearward? Not centered in the wheelwells.
  4. My ex-sister in law took me. She treats me better than my ex-wife does! And yeah, it was nice to finally get out of the house for a reason other than a hospital or doctor visit.
  5. The bat logo on the driver's door is crooked. Batman would never approve.
  6. Nice. Simple and classic.
  7. TJ... are you the only one still playing this game? Looks like it! Ok, here's one I hope hasn't been posted before. I'm not going to go through 200+ pages to check... "And her face is like a sail, Speck of white so fair and pale"...
  8. That car's a beauty, whether real or model!
  9. That is the question!
  10. But you're missing the point. Sure, the incorrect brake rotors can be replaced with aftermarket items. But a modeler shouldn't have to do that. A modeler shouldn't have to spend money on extra parts in order to correct mistakes that the kit manufacturer made. These kits are designed and engineered by professionals who are paid to get the details right. Obvious mistakes like lumps on brake rotors are inexcusable. Not impossible to fix by the builder. But inexcusable nonetheless.

Absolutely beautiful! I just love the colors! And your foil work is almost surgically precise. Superior model.
  12. Very nice. But of course, all your models are very nice!
  13. Beautifully done all around!
  14. Very nice! Those wheels look great on this car.
  15. Man, you build some really nice models! I love this!
  16. That is one good looking model! Excellent work, I love it!
  17. Love the interior, but I think the colorful interior plus the two-tone exterior is a bit much. Plus, the hard, black door and trunk panel lines are too dark and obvious. But overall a nice model of a seldom-seen subject.
  18. Looks good, nice and clean. Would have been even better with fuel/injector lines added.
  19. Very nicely done. Great paint job. The interior also looks great.
  20. Unfortunately, the kit's front fenders also have this molded-in texture, which is probably incorrect (front fenders would have been steel). But I'm too lazy to fix it... going to live with it as is.
  21. Yes, being used to working in 1/8 scale, this one seems very small to me!
  22. Saw the new Clint Eastwood movie "Sully" yesterday. Liked it a lot. The water landing is very well done, it looks incredibly realistic. Lots of CGI and stunt work in this movie, but the results are amazing. Another solid movie from my favorite living American director, and starring my favorite actor, Tom Hanks. Two thumbs up!
  23. Lots of progress since my last post. The chassis is very nicely detailed and went together without a hitch except for the driveshaft, which was about 1/8" too short. A bit of styrene solved that problem; otherwise everything else fit very well. The chassis has lots of little separate detail parts... just the way I like it! The front axle stubs are white because I had modified the axle to allow for poseable steering... so I had to remove the molded-in stubs and replace them with styrene rod... remember? The fenders have some sort of "leather" like texture molded into them... I guess the real car had some sort of leather or fabric-covered fenders? Strange. But the texture is definitely there and not a mistake.
  24. If you took away the base and just shot the model on the pavement, it would easily pass for the real thing. Excellent work, excellent weathering... not overdone, just right. Beautiful!
