  1. Ok, I didn't realize you were living in 1957! No "dial tone" on a cell phone. You punch in the number and hit the "call" button.
  2. How many of you still think of "dialing the phone" when you make a call? Or "hanging up" when you're finished talking?
  3. Didn't even know this kit exists! Very nice.
  4. Or just X-ray the frame.
  5. Wow. What can I say? That's a very complex situation you're dealing with (and will deal with in the future). About all I can say is best of luck to you.
  6. All this, and now birdnapping too? Wow, these bike people are quite an unsavory bunch, aren't they?
  7. This thread is the cat's pajamas! 23 Skidoo!
  8. I know it's cheating (in pro bike racing), but man, that is just brilliant.
  9. Jane Krakowski. She's a TV actress.
  10. We had thunderstorms today. Yep. Rain. Not snow. Don't have to shovel rain!
  11. Nothing like a Chicago Polish.
  12. Yeah, kapusta is good stuff. But steer clear of the czarnina!!!
  13. My ex-wife's mom was Polish, and one day the in-laws took my wife and me to a Polish restaurant. Mom-in-law ordered the czarnina. I asked her what it was. Let's just say that when she told me, I lost all interest in trying it!
  14. Isn't that duck blood soup? Yikes!
  15. Welcome aboard, Joel!
  16. Dr. Cranky would be so happy to know you watch his show!
  17. I just think it's so freaking ingenious!
  18. Yes, I can see that. A little added extra boost when you need it.
  19. I still can't wrap my head around how such a small motor can generate the torque needed to move a bike and rider. I mean, the thing is smaller than a Dremel! And obviously if you strapped a Dremel onto your bike and geared it up somehow, it would accomplish nothing....
  20. What's the power source? How does the motor run?
  21. Definitely not my thing as far as subject matter goes, but man oh man, that is one beautifully done model! It could almost pass for the real thing in your photos. Very impressive work.
  22. Wow! Those bicycle racers are sure a sneaky bunch! But that's so diabolically clever, you almost have to admire the ingenuity! My question would be... how in the world can such a tiny motor generate enough torque to actually propel a bike and rider?
