  1. Actually it happened in 1967... well into the war in Vietnam.
  2. Why are the taillights blue? Just wondering...
  3. No politics, guys.
  4. Yeah, he reeeeeeeeeeeeeally dragged it out for dramatic effect.
  5. I heard he was in the hospital in critical condition. I guess this is about as critical as it gets.
  6. You guys better knock it off. You're going to break the internet...
  7. Well, you hit on three of my four favorites... Midnight Oil, INXS, and AC/DC. Add to that Crowded House and you have all my favorite Australian bands.
  8. Hello from the heart of the USA... Illinois!
  9. I deleted the other two. Tom... what a coincidence you have a cover with a "Geiger" on it!
  10. Ron... I changed it. Thanks for your understanding. Guys like you are what make this place great.
  11. Another great song from Crowded House. One of the more underappreciated bands of the late '80s-early '90s...
  12. Crowded House is sort of a NZ-Australia mix, but close enough. Great band, tons of great songs. One of my favorites...
  13. At this point this may be redundant, but I have to say that looks spectacular!
  14. Ron... as a compromise, maybe cut it down in size a bit? Maybe 50%? Personally it doesn't bother me in the least. But maybe for the sake of "family?" Just a suggestion, not a request or demand.
  15. That's real nice! But your tonneau snaps are a little rough looking. A better way to go... remove them, sand the tonneau smooth and brush paint it... then put down some masking tape and measure/mark the locations for each snap. Use a pin vise to drill each hole, then use cut-down sewing pins as the snaps. Every snap will be perfectly identical and look much more realistic than the solder "stubs" you used.
  16. Overall it looks nice, but you need to clean up the foil on the wheel arches. You have a couple very obvious ragged areas, especially the left rear.
  17. Instead of making my life more difficult, how about you all just use common sense. Remember common sense? If you're posting a photo on another guy's thread because you're answering a question or clarifying something regarding the topic, fine. But don't post pictures of your own models and say "hey, look at me, I built that same model!" That's just rude.
  18. Yes, I see now. I goggled it, the seat backs have that raised padded "rim" around the edges which makes the seatbacks look recessed.
  19. From the photos Rich posted, looks like the front seats have hollow backs that need to be filled in with sheet plastic. Also adding a top boot (either scratchbuilt or from the parts box) would go a long way as far as realism goes.
  20. You mean you think it's a slimy, gooey mess? Or do you mean it looks vicious?
