  1. Pickups, Vans, SUVs, and Light Commercial Trucks Post your in-progress or finished pickups, vans, SUVs, or other non-big rig trucks here. Seriously? You don't understand that?
  2. It's not confusing at all if you would just bother to read the category descriptions, which are clear and specific. We have a Cars section with several Car subsections. We have a Trucks section with several Truck subsections. It really can't be much simpler than that. I really don't see why anyone would have a problem with such a simple thing as posting a topic in the correct place. This isn't exactly rocket science, people. Let's stop making a mountain out of a molehill and creating a "problem" where there is none. If anyone actually has a problem understanding the concept of posting a topic where it belongs (as opposed to posting to just complain), PM me and I'll explain it to you.
  3. This topic was moved to the Q&A section, which is where it should have been posted. Do NOT repost the same topic again in the wrong place after the topic has been moved to its correct spot
  4. Sounds like you pretty much have all your questions answered right there. It doesn't seem like you're missing anything.
  5. Given the popularity of '57 Chevy kits over the years, a 2-in-1 convertible/coupe kit would have sold quite well, I would think.
  6. Unless you also want a realistic interior. Then the conversion is a bit trickier.

    What if...?

You mean, how dare I do that to a Mustang!

    What if...?

    From Dr. Frankenstein's lab...

    What if...?

    How about a Cadivette?
  10. Very nice! Excellent attention to detail, even the dashtop vent. Battery terminals look great, and YES! An alternator bracket! But body-colored wipers?

    What if...?

And from the "I'm serious" department...

    What if...?

Another one from the "just kidding" department:

    What if...?

That one was sort of a joke, not a serious design.

    What if...?

Paint it black and call it a Batmobile!
  16. You could make copies of the door handle and horn grille. Take a small piece of clay or aluminum foil and take an impression of the existing pieces. Fill with 5-minute epoxy. When set up, pop the parts out, paint silver or foil them, and PRESTO! You have your missing parts! Since the running boards are not identical, but right and left sides, you would have to scratchbuild the missing running board out of styrene sheet... but that shouldn't be too hard to do.

  18. Yeah, today's not bad. Better than the 100 degrees plus we've been having the last few weeks. Now if only we could get some rain! They're already telling us all how food prices are going to go through the roof due to the drought.
  19. No thanks! It's bad enough here... I can't imagine what you guys go through!
  20. That's exactly what I'm talking about! High temps plus high humidity equals misery!
  21. Harry P.

    What if...?

  22. Yeah, southwest somewhere. Northern New Mexico maybe. Somewhere where there is never any bad weather! I don't mind the heat if the humidity is around 10%... it's the combination of 90 degree temperature and 90% humidity that's a killer. It's ridiculous when you break a sweat just walking to the mailbox!
